What is Olu Pain Management patch?
Olu Pain Management patch (for the skin) is a combination medicine that is used to temporarily relieve muscle or joint pain in adults and children at least 12 years old.
Olu Pain Management patch may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Olu Pain Management patch side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Olu Pain Management and call your healthcare provider at once if you have:

severe skin irritation where the patch is worn; or
-
worsening or no improvement in your symptoms.
Less serious side effects may be more likely, or you may have none at all.

Before taking this medicine
You should not use Olu Pain Management patch if you are allergic to it, or if you have:

open sores; or
-
damaged or irritated skin.
Ask a doctor before using Olu Pain Management if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You may develop methemoglobinemia, a rare blood disorder preventing tissues from receiving enough oxygen. Ask your doctor about your risk.
Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.
How should I use Olu Pain Management patch?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take by mouth. Topical medicine is for use only on the skin.
Apply Olu Pain Management patch to the affected area up to once per day. The patch should not be worn for more than 12 hours per application.
The patch may be cut into smaller sizes before removing the protective film. The patch can be used on up to 2 body parts at a time.
Wash your hands before and after applying this medicine.
Apply the medicine to clean and dry skin.
Do not bandage treated skin or expose it to heat.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days, or the symptoms clear up and come back within 3 days.
Olu Pain Management patch is flammable. Do not use near high heat or open flame.
Store at cool room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not freeze.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Olu Pain Management patch is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.
What happens if I overdose?
Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medicine.
What should I avoid while use Olu Pain Management patch?
Do not get Olu Pain Management in your eyes, nose, or mouth.
What other drugs will affect Olu Pain Management patch?
Medicine used on the skin is not likely to be affected by other drugs you use, but many drugs can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
