Ksalol (alprazolam) is available in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Serbia. Ksalol belongs to a class of medications known as benzodiazepines. It’s prescribed to treat generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and insomnia.

Lower doses are recommended for adults ages 65 and older and for people with liver problems. Alprazolam is a controlled substance and carries a boxed warning about abuse, misuse, withdrawal and death. Side effects may include:
