Drug Interaction Report
1 potential interaction and/or warning found for the following 2 drugs:
- dirithromycin
- oxtriphylline
Interactions between your drugs
oxtriphylline dirithromycin
Applies to: oxtriphylline, dirithromycin
Dirithromycin appears to have little or no effect on theophylline levels. It may rarely increase the plasma clearance of theophylline and plasma theophylline concentrations may be reduced by up to 26%. It is unlikely that the interaction with dirithromycin is clinically significant enough to modify outcome or require treatment adjustments.
