4 potential interactions and/or warnings found for the following 2 drugs:
- cefditoren
- MagneBind 400 (calcium carbonate / magnesium carbonate)
Interactions between your drugs
calcium carbonate cefditoren
Applies to: MagneBind 400 (calcium carbonate / magnesium carbonate), cefditoren
Ask your doctor before using calcium carbonate together with cefditoren. Medications that reduce stomach acid such as calcium carbonate can cause cefditoren to be less effective. You should generally avoid using calcium carbonate while taking cefditoren. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
magnesium carbonate cefditoren
Applies to: MagneBind 400 (calcium carbonate / magnesium carbonate), cefditoren

You should generally avoid using magnesium carbonate while taking cefditoren. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
calcium carbonate food
Applies to: MagneBind 400 (calcium carbonate / magnesium carbonate)
Calcium absorption may be increased by taking it with food. However, foods high in oxalic acid (spinach or rhubarb), or phytic acid (bran and whole grains) may decrease calcium absorption. Calcium may be taken with food to increase absorption. Consider spacing calcium administration for at least 2 hours before or after consuming foods high in oxalic acid or phytic acid. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
cefditoren food
Applies to: cefditoren
Food can enhance the levels of cefditoren in your body. To ensure maximal oral absorption, cefditoren should be administered with or immediately after a meal. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
Therapeutic duplication warnings
No duplication warnings were found for your selected drugs.
Therapeutic duplication warnings are only returned when drugs within the same group exceed the recommended therapeutic duplication maximum.
