GENERALLY AVOID: The administration of live, attenuated viral or bacterial vaccines during tezepelumab therapy has not been evaluated. Increased adverse reactions and decreased or suboptimal immunologic response to vaccines may occur; however, data are not available.
MANAGEMENT: In general, live attenuated vaccines should not be used in patients receiving tezepelumab therapy. Administration of live attenuated vaccines in severely immunocompromised persons is generally considered a contraindication. Current local immunization guidelines and prescribing information for individual vaccines should be consulted for recommendations.
