Treatment with ibritumomab tiuxetan and avatrombopag at the same time or too close together may interfere with the effects of avatrombopag. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, it is generally recommended that growth factors like avatrombopag not be given within 3 weeks before or 2 weeks after treatment with ibritumomab tiuxetan. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Taking avatrombopag with food helps ensure consistent absorption of the medication into the blood stream. You should take each dose of avatrombopag with food at the same time everyday.
