"It has greatly improved the quality of my life by reducing my skin sores and muscle deterioration. It also improves my level of energy. I have infusions for two consecutive days every four weeks in a hospital clinic. I drink lots of water before, during, and after the infusions, and rarely have headaches. I am injected with fluids first. Then the infusion starts very slowly at 19 ml/hour (for 30 mins), increasing slowly every 30 mins until a maximum of 125 ml/hour. One session takes between 4-5 hours."

For Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy "Three days after completing the first three-day treatment, seem to have very modest improvement in balance. Have had very mild headache helped by drinking plenty of water and have experienced some fatigue. So far, benefits outweigh the side effects."

For Primary Immunodeficiency Syndrome "Privigen has been the only IVIG drug I can infuse at the recommended rates. Instead of an eight-hour 40 gram day, I'm down to 4.5 hours and 35 grams. Privigen has less fillers and preservatives which has made it a better infusion for me. Only one headache in two years and I was dehydrated as evidenced by my bloodwork results. And I knew I had not had enough water the day before."

For Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy "I get 800 ml 10% IVIg intravenously every 2 weeks for about 6 or 7 years. Supervision by Cornell Weil in NYC. I do not feel any difference before or after infusion. Yearly EMG tests indicate the progression has stopped at about 50% motor/sensory loss. I have thankfully minimal pain with Prednisone 20 mg daily and 25 mg Methotrexate weekly."

"It does seem to raise blood levels showing immunity after my session. I do experience many of the common side effects, though. Sleeplessness, coughing, runny nose, diarrhea, etc. Ivermectin works better at raising immunity and keeping it there."
