Triamcinolone may reduce the effects of penbutolol in lowering blood pressure. The interaction is most likely to occur when triamcinolone is used for more than a week, since prolonged use can cause sodium and water retention. Using penbutolol together with multivitamin with minerals may decrease the effects of penbutolol. Separate the administration times of penbutolol and multivitamin with minerals by at least 2 hours.
