Ginger may increase the blood levels of everolimus. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Let your doctor know if your condition changes or you experience new or worsening side effects of everolimus such as mouth ulcers, fever, infection, shortness of breath, diarrhea, dizziness, paleness, fainting, and/or unusual bleeding or bruising while taking these medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Grapefruit juice can increase the blood levels and effects of everolimus. You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits during your treatment with everolimus. Orange juice is not expected to interact.
