"I take my second 2.5 mg Zepbound tomorrow. I am so impressed so far with this med. I am in my 60s and have tried dieting with initial success and then rebound. I swim and use an elliptical, which makes me feel good but has not helped me lose weight. This is a different experience. Like others say, it turns off the craving 'noise', you feel full all the time, and food is no longer the enemy. I have been eating fruits and veggies, chicken, beef, and eggs. Cottage cheese tastes great for the first time and is a great small meal. I drink water with sliced lemons, which tastes great and is satisfying. I have never been much of a water drinker, but now that is all I want other than tea and coffee. I have probably lost about 2 lbs so far as my always bloated belly is flattening, though I have a long way to go. I have had a few mild headaches and vomited on night three, otherwise, no side effects. I'm all in!"

"I started feeling less hungry right away after the first dose. Cravings for junk food have been reduced. I feel full faster as well. I have felt a little stomach pain if I eat too late in the day (too close to bedtime) or if I eat a high-fat meal (pizza or burgers). I have lost 14 lbs so far (started at 230 lbs). Moving to 5 mg next week."

"I started taking Zepbound in September of 2024. At that time, I was about 70 pounds overweight. I started at 2.5 mg, was raised to 5 mg, then 7.5 mg, and now I'm on 10 mg. I have been able to tolerate it reasonably well. Since I started using it, I would say I have lost over 50 pounds. The medicine definitely has changed my eating habits. I still probably eat more sweets than I should, but not nearly as much as I used to. I have GERD and severe heartburn, and I'd say the medicine does negatively affect that, but I have been on Prilosec or another one of those meds for nearly 10 years, so I am at least able to manage it. If I don't take the Prilosec, I oat dearly. One other thing I have noticed most recently is a metallic taste in my mouth and some hair loss. Sometimes the taste is stronger than others, and I did not notice it until my dose went up to 10 mg. Another thing I noticed is that I have lost a lot of muscle as well as fat. I do get lots of compliments about my weight loss."

"I started Zepbound in September 2024 to treat severe sleep apnea as diagnosed through sleep studies. I have been on the drug for 8 months and lost 35 pounds, reaching a normal weight range, and my sleep apnea is about 90-95% improved. I had mild stomach discomfort in the first month or two, but nothing very concerning. I also had some itching at the injection sites periodically over the first few months. I currently have no side effects whatsoever. I gradually ramped up from the 2.5 mg/0.5 mg dose to 5.0 mg/ml to 7.5 mg/ml, which is my final dose. This medicine was an absolute game changer. Can't emphasize how much this has improved my quality of life. I had struggled with sleep apnea and using a CPAP for about 10 years, with little success before trying this. It is important to be monitored by a doctor throughout treatment, including bloodwork, including lipase to monitor for pancreatitis."

"Started on Zepbound 2 weeks ago. I have only lost 2 pounds. I don’t feel like eating. At first, I was so tired, and that subsided. My biggest problem is the belching. I can’t seem to get rid of it."

"Sleeping more soundly, no more snoring, and also taking for weight loss. Had some constipation at the beginning. Took 3 teaspoons of fiber daily until I got regular, and now one teaspoon of Metamucil daily. Lost 7 pounds in 2 months so far."

"I was obese and had sleep apnea. After 5 months of Zepbound, I have lost 45 lbs., and my sleep apnea has subsided. Along with starting the medicine, I started an exercise program. I walk over 10K steps a day and use lighter weights with multiple sets to maintain and increase muscle mass. I also increased the amount of water I drink. I have a 40 oz. mug that I always have with me and am usually drinking 120 oz. per day. I stopped drinking alcohol 2 months into taking Zepbound. I have more energy and feel much better than I did when I was obese. The only side effect that I experienced was constipation. I combated that by taking a low dosage daily of Dulcolax. I could have never lost the weight I have without Zepbound. I intend to keep up my exercise program after stopping Zepbound, and hopefully my weight gain will be minimal."

"I’m on my 7th shot, I have lost 12 lbs. I’ve experienced blurred vision, and all cravings for sweets have subsided. My bowels are only moving once a week, probably because I’m not eating as much. So far, I haven’t had any other side effects."

"Second week, as of yesterday, no side effects other than not sleeping well the first couple of nights after injecting. I’ve lost close to 5 lbs in the first week. I’ve been reading that if you experience insomnia it is because of the rapid weight loss and to try and change the time of injection. I did it at 6 PM both last Tuesday and yesterday, next Tuesday I’m doing it in the morning. The key for me if not having the side effects that many people experience is that I have been eating clean before starting the medication and continue to eat clean as well as having a high-protein meal 45 minutes to an hour prior to injection. We’ll see how it goes next week when I inject in the morning instead of the evening."
