"Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim literally knocked me to the ground! My legs suddenly gave out and I could not stand or get up on my own, requiring hospitalization for 4 days. This happened several times before I stopped taking it and took months before the effects totally went away. I have toxoplasmosis, and a similar sulfur drug did the same thing."
