For Gas "I had a lot of bloating/belching after dinner tonight. Was uncomfortable, felt nauseous. Searched my medicine cabinet and found an almost expired pack of chewable Gas-X tablets. Could literally feel it working to settle down my stomach and had less bloating within minutes. Maybe I just got lucky, but this really seemed to do the trick."

Simethicone for Gas "I’ve had an episode of the worst gas pain. My upper right and middle quadrants in my abdomen were hurting and very uncomfortable. I just recently had my gallbladder out, and it felt similar to a gallbladder attack. But, I took an extra strength chewable, and about 10-15 minutes later, I felt as good as new. It’s crazy how fast this works for that."

Simethicone "Took this product because I’ve been dealing with trap gas, bloating, and constipation caused by IBS and this product been helping. Doesn’t cure my IBS but I can actually eat in peace and not be worried about feeling bloated and cramping. I take 1 tablet after each meal and two at night. Works miracles. Hope they find a cure for IBS soon. One thing, not sure if we can use long term. Says two weeks on the box."

For Gas "Didn’t work at all for me. I had severe period cramps and gas pains. I took 3 200 mg Advil, and it stopped the uterus contractions, but it didn’t help the gas pain. Took a Phazyme afterward to help with gas, and I’ve never been in so much pain in my life. I was bedridden all day. It made me feel constipated."

Simethicone for Functional Gastric Disorder "There is a strange gummy residue after chewing these tablets. It doesn’t dissolve, and you’re left with this gooey white substance that I had to spit out. Gas-X brand is much better. Bought this because that was all the pharmacy had."

"I take 120mg gels that are a brand I bought online, because the drug store is expensive for a low dose! After Scope + Biopsy, Contrast CT scan, and blood work. My body is fine. The Dr., a GI specialist, said, 'because of the high adrenaline, and little sleep, that would be why you don't digest.' Now my next appt is in 2025! 8 months from now. Right now, I am trying to control chronic diarrhea, and bloating/cramping. Simethicone helps me a lot, it does make you pass gas, but 'Better out than in.' I am also taking an anti-diarrheal. At a very low dose. It seems to be a good combination. In fact, it comes combined as one pill at the store already."

"It turns out I have IBS. At least it's not Crohn's or colitis. I think? I've already used so many drugs. Simethicone has been the best, or second best. I need a big dose. The brand-name chews are expensive. I went online, bought max dose gels, they have lasted years. It's true, it doesn't completely help with IBS. But it helps quite a bit. There are no side effects for me. It doesn't interact with anything that I know of. Passing gas is the point. When I went for a scope, I had to go to a section after to pass all the gas. It's great when you have a proper dose. For me, it's 120 mg. It cuts the pain down by a lot. I'm still taking any non-NSAID painkiller I can get. I've taken everything. You name it. This is probably the most helpful, or codeine with acetaminophen and caffeine. But that is for special occasions. Painful moments."

"Quickly, I was wrong. Reading the bottle, it is 180 mg per gel. Not 120 mg. A very big dose! 'Only 2 per day allowed. Stop use and ask a doctor if the condition persists.' I told a few doctors I have been taking simethicone daily max dose for years. I might miss a day or two. I bought a lot online. No doctor has recommended I stop or expressed concern with the amount I use. 'If it's helping, that's good. It's safe as long as you are not taking too much.' Hopefully, it's safe! Helps every time! Huge dose. 15 mg never worked. 180 mg."
