What is Align?

Align has been used as a probiotic, or "friendly bacteria," to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestines.

Some uses not proven with research have included stomach pain or upset.

It is not certain whether Align is effective in treating any medical condition. Medicinal use of this product has not been approved by the FDA. This medicine should not be used in place of medication prescribed for you by your doctor.

Align is often sold as an herbal supplement. There are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for many herbal compounds and some marketed supplements have been found to be contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.

Align side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using Align and call your healthcare provider at once if you have:

• signs of infection--fever, chills, sore throat, body aches, unusual tiredness, loss of appetite, bruising or bleeding.

Common side effects of Align may include:

• bloating or gas.

How should I take Align?

Your dose needs may change if you switch to a different brand, strength, or form of this product. Avoid medication errors by using exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.

Align is taken once per day.

Store this product in the original container at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
