"I've been on rivastigmine for over 2 years now. Started at 1.5 mg twice daily and moved up to 3 mg. I will call this a game changer for me. I am currently 60 and have Lewy Body Dementia, which caused cognitive decline/fluctuations, short-term memory issues, and hallucinations. Rivastigmine has improved my quality of life dramatically. I personally have had no side effects, unlike what donepezil did to me... very serious gastric issues."

"I have been taking 1.5 mg rivastigmine for five days. I feel numb all over, headache, no appetite, and hard to function."

"My doctor in Latin America recommended Rivastigmine Transdermal System, 4.6 mg/24 hours. I had a slight headache on the first day, nothing on the second day. I feel more alert and have a positive disposition. After 2 months of daily use, I have not felt depressed. My daughters say that my mood has changed, that I do not get upset as easily, and seem to have more energy. The cost of the medicine in Latin America was about $30.00 for a three-month supply. In NJ, with insurance, about $195.00. The price difference is difficult to understand."
