Racepinephrine "Worked for me almost immediately. My symptoms were wheezing and trying to get up some chest congestion. First time I used it, it was very foreign and felt like it slightly burned as I breathed it in the first breath or two. Relief lasted about a day and a half before I used it again. I have been using it about once or twice daily for 3-4 weeks because I couldn't go to the doctor. The only side effect I have had is a little bit of shakiness that lasts about 5 minutes or so."

Racepinephrine "Same effect as prescription medication at the same cost, around $50, and has the same side effects. If you have asthma and take inhaled medication, you know that if you have an episode with your asthma and you use your inhaler, it has the same effect: nervousness, rapid heartbeat, jitters, and sometimes headache, etc. Basically, it's just the medication opening your airways, and that puts more oxygen in your lungs, which makes you have the nervousness, etc. If you do not have or have been diagnosed with asthma, do not take this medicine until you see a doctor. But I give it a thumbs up."

Racepinephrine "Can't afford a doctor or prescription for my allergy-related asthma, so I diligently try to control allergies and drink lots of coffee to help open me up when I have breathing difficulties. Happened to spot Asthmanefrin on a shelf at the local Walmart pharmacy. I snapped it up and went straight home. Saturday, 2:30 p.m., I took the first dose. Twenty minutes later, opened me up completely! Sunday morning at 3:30 a.m. before work, still breathing absolutely fine. Taking a dose per 24 hours has been a Godsend for me! Have had no adverse reactions at all! Am stocking up before they pull it off the shelf! Use it in my nebulizer straight. No dilution. Absolutely tickled that I can breathe well again!"

Racepinephrine "I used Primatene for 40 years, and it worked great, most people didn't know I even had asthma. Primatene cost me $18-$19 and lasted about 40 days. It was taken off the market by the EPA, as they claimed it harmed the environment, with no regard for those who relied on it to breathe. Asthmanefrin is my only option and works well, but costs twice as much, and the tiny plastic vials, each holding 2 drops (usually one is lost when the vial is opened), can't be any better for the environment. Bring Primatene Mist back! I will vote for anyone who agrees to do so!"

Racepinephrine "Since Pimatene mist had been discontinued, this has been the best solution for me. This works fast without any side effects if used properly. You just can't inhale the whole vial of medicine in the cup. Take 2-3 inhalations if the vapor is coming out correctly. I think this works better without the sometimes nasty side effects of my prescription inhalers."

"Drug relieves shortness of breath better than any prescription, but the device to deliver is junk. Also, for some reason, I also cough up blood. I wish I knew why. This is the only time I see blood. Worried since the old inhaler with the same medication did not do this."

"I have allergies and asthma. My albuterol inhaler was no longer giving me any relief. I have had a bad cold, and when I would cough, it would turn into an asthma attack, and I would see stars, feel faint, my throat would start to close, and I felt like I was going to pass out. I purchased the EZ Breathe atomizer with racepinephrine. The relief was immediate, it was easy to use, and it is portable. I did experience a little hand shaking for a few minutes after, but my other inhaler made me dizzy, shaky, and gave me headaches, so this was VERY mild comparatively. Some stated it burned the throat, but if your throat was sore prior, that kind of makes sense, although it did not burn my throat. The ONLY reason I did not give this a 10 is for the shakiness."

Racepinephrine "I was experiencing asthma symptoms from being exposed to a cat. After using Asthmanefrin starter kit, I felt it work pretty quickly, but also noticed that my heart rate increased, hand tremors, and within a few minutes I began to cough up phlegm with blood. Then about a half hour later, I started to experience tightness in my left lung, and it became difficult to swallow. Using the product, only for a few days, I haven't experienced problems with the mechanical functions, and it didn't bother me that it was a different product than a typical inhaler. I kept it clean, like instructed. However, I am concerned with the side effects I've experienced and plan to check with the pharmacist. I fear I am allergic to this product."

Racepinephrine "It didn't open up my bronchial tubes and lungs at all, but what it did do was make me extremely shaky, angry for no apparent reason, have labored and rapid breathing, which increased my PR to 120+, and sweaty. It was all compiled upon my current SOB, and the bad thing is, it was my husband's breathing machine, and I assume it might have had some of that Asthmanefrin left in it, so not a whole dose even, while not knowing, I put my one dose of an albuterol treatment, and BLAM! All of this and still hasn't helped my breathing. I would highly suggest running this by your doctor before using because if you're home alone and you have a bad reaction, it could close you up and you could die. Seriously, be careful with this stuff."

"Racepinephrine is dangerous! I coughed up blood and almost had a stroke. All it is, is adrenaline and what feels like fiberglass. Rating zero (if I could)."

Racepinephrine "I bought this product on a whim one day because I was running low on my inhaler, and I get extremely high anxiety when I have nothing. I highly recommend this product! I used to buy the little handheld device it came with, but now I just use the medicine in my nebulizer. Yes, it may make you a little shaky for the first few minutes, but I really feel like that's not a big deal when the end result is helping you breathe. I am able to use it, and it prevents my asthma from coming on due to allergies and humidity. Walmart doesn't always stock it, and I wish they would because it's excellent."
