For Emergency Contraception "So I took Plan B One-Step a day after intercourse because I suspected I may have accidentally gotten pregnant by my boyfriend. When I took the pill, I felt fine, there was a little bloating, but it was manageable. Fast forward two weeks, and it's time for my period to start, so I was experiencing some pretty intense cramps even before I began bleeding. Then my period started, and the cramps were way worse than usual, and I just had a continuous dull ache in my pelvic area that couldn't be soothed. On top of that, I kept having waves of nausea and feeling sick. But despite all of that, I'm not pregnant, and although I experienced troubles here and there, it could be a lot worse being pregnant, so I'm thankful for the pill, and it does work!"

For Emergency Contraception "This worked for me, although I spent two weeks convinced it hadn't. My boyfriend and I had sex with a condom, but it slipped, and some of the sperm definitely got inside of me. Within 20 minutes of this accident, I took Plan B, but was still anxious about whether or not it would work. My cycle is not regular (30-33 days), so I plugged my last period and my cycles into several ovulation calculators and was really scared to learn on the date of the accident. I was one, two, or three days from ovulation. I only had a few side effects of Plan B, some awful lower abdominal cramping that lasted three days and some mild nausea that lasted one. I also spotted pink before my period started (which I thought was implantation bleeding, and I freaked). I got my period today, a 31-day cycle. I have never been happier to be visited by Aunt Flo. Best of luck to all of you on here. Just remember, the sooner you take it, the better it works."

For Emergency Contraception "I’ve used Plan B before, and it always worked. This time, when I needed it most, it did not work for me. I am almost 3 weeks pregnant right now. I am disappointed because it’s bad timing. A baby is a miracle, and I feel bad that I am in this predicament, but I put myself here. I tried to believe it was the Plan B that gave me my symptoms, but it’s been a while since I got my period, so I took a test, and I am pregnant for sure. I can’t blame Plan B because it isn’t 100%, but damn, lmao, it didn’t work this time. I recommend if you are late, definitely take a pregnancy test. I had nausea, my boobs hurt, I puked once, I’m tired, I’m moody. Those are my symptoms. Good luck, Charlie."

For Emergency Contraception "It was a heat of the moment thing, and we went unprotected. Not too smart, but it happens. Took Plan B One-Step less than an hour later. Like you, I was anxious and jumped into reading reviews and began the waiting game. The second day I felt dizzy, nauseated, and sleepy, but it didn't kill me. For those wondering, I'm 5'3, 145 lbs, and never took birth control before. Just relax, even if you don't feel it, this is working. Easier said than done, I know. My period came a few days earlier than expected and heavier, but I've never been so happy to see it!"

For Emergency Contraception "I was having sex with this guy and the condom had broken. He didn’t ejaculate yet, but there was definitely precum. I was also on the day of my ovulation, so very high chance of pregnancy, and I took the Plan B an hour or so later. I waited two weeks for my period to come, and those two weeks were the worst weeks of my life. I would Google everything, and these reviews were the only thing that made me feel better. I thought I was pregnant for sure, and I would cry constantly. This pill didn’t really have side effects for me, only a little nausea and backache, but that’s all. I got my period on May 2nd, and I literally cried in the bathroom because of how happy I was."

For Emergency Contraception "I just wanted to share my experience to calm the minds of every girl on here. So, I have now had to take Plan B twice. The first time the condom broke, he finished inside, so I took the pill one hour after and had little side effects. My period came right on time. The second time the condom broke, but he pulled out long before he finished. I took the pill a few hours later. I had cramping, nausea, acne flare-ups, and lots of stress. I missed my period, and around that time my breasts became sore. I was very nervous. I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. But two and a half weeks later, it came like a truck, and now I am bleeding heavily and cramping a ton! So, ladies, please just try to relax and let the pill do its job. Thank you, Plan B!"

For Emergency Contraception "On December 24th, 2019, I had unprotected sex, mind you, it was around one in the morning. He swore up and down he pulled out, and I mean I think he did, but I wasn’t sure! So later that day, around eight at night, I bought a Plan B and took it immediately! I was supposed to get my period on the 26th, but didn’t end up getting it. Two days after, I was feeling nauseous and had a headache at night. I ended up getting it on the 29th! So five days late, but I got it!"

For Emergency Contraception "Be mindful that everyone's body is different. I had sex with my partner, and he came in me, this was two days before my ovulation day. I took Plan B 12 hours after the deed. I'm not on birth control, never have been, and my periods are regular. Coming from someone who overthinks and has high anxiety, I've never been so stressed in my life. I let Google convince me for 2-3 weeks that I was pregnant. All signs led to conceiving. I wasn't eating, sleeping (even though I was very fatigued), nauseous, and crying for days on end. I had a close friend who had taken Plan B, and it didn't work, and she ended up pregnant, so that made my anxiety even worse. I ate a couple of teaspoons of raw papaya seeds and honey sporadically (do your research because it can be harmful!), but still couldn’t stay off of Google. Even some bad reviews on this exact website made me lose hope. Well, today, Mother Nature sent her package 2 days early, and I've never been so happy to see blood!"

For Emergency Contraception "Around two months ago, I was on holiday and had unprotected sex. I was freaking out, so I decided to take the Plan B around an hour after. A month later, I realized I was 3 weeks late for my period and that I took the Plan B during my ovulation period. I started freaking out and convincing myself I was pregnant to the point where I was 99% sure I was starting to get nauseous from the anxiety. I took a pregnancy test the next day and confirmed I wasn’t pregnant. So I guess the Plan B worked for me, and my period is just very late!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex a day after my period tracking calendar said I ovulated. My partner used the pull-out method and said he did not ejaculate in me, but I am a very worrisome person. I took the Plan B One-Step almost 48 hours after. I weigh 206 pounds and am 5'6", if this helps. Well, a week after, I was having dizzy spells, some nausea, hot flashes, constipation, sore boobs, and was very tired. I ended up getting my period a day before I expected it, so I would say that the pill worked for me in this instant. Don't freak out and do not spend your money on pregnancy tests before you are actually late for it. Stress can cause your period to be late, so just relax and don't think every little thing means you're pregnant because it will kill you."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with a friend of mine after heavy drinking (yes, I am 24, and I know it was a very stupid move) and realized we did not use protection probably 12 hours later when we were having breakfast. Initially, after taking Plan B, I did not have any symptoms. 5 days later, I got the Plan B period, which lasted 4 days. After all this stopped, I thought I would be in the clear until my next period, however, for the next almost 4 weeks, I was nauseous, had chills, back pain, and cramps. So, to try to calm myself down, I took a pregnancy test 3 weeks after intercourse, followed by 26 days after intercourse (both negative). 3 days ago, I got my period, and it was 3 days late. Try to stay calm, as stress plays a huge factor. I am so thankful!!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex the last day of my ovulation window. My partner completely finished inside of me, and I took Plan B within an hour of having sex. I freaked out because I read reviews saying that the pill doesn’t work if you ovulated already. Two days after taking the pill, I had fatigue, major nausea, and lots of anxiety. Nine days after taking the pill, I started getting sharp pains on and off in my pelvic area. Two days later, I started getting brown/pinkish discharge. A day before my expected period, I began spotting. I officially got my period one day later than the expected period day! This pill worked for me. The pill gives you similar symptoms to pregnancy and made my anxiety levels a lot higher. Be patient and good luck!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "First off, don’t panic! It works. I know it’s easier said than done because if you found this page, that means you’ve found Google and have already been going a little crazy but trust me, it works. I’m a 20F w/ irregular periods for some background. My boyfriend and I had sex on the 25th of May (2 am) and I had just finished my period a week prior and was in my fertile window. First time and no protection. He pulled out before he came, but I wasn’t too sure as I didn’t see it. I panicked! That same day I got Plan B around 6 pm as I had to travel and couldn’t get it right after (about 15 hours later). Initially, I went to bed fine and the next day (May 26th) I found myself extremely nauseous. About 2 days later I was spotting and pretty moody, then on the 31st I noticed I was cramping. Now it’s the 1st and my period arrived 2 weeks early. It works love! You got this. Don’t forget to pray. You’re okay!!"

For Emergency Contraception "Had sexual intercourse the 25, no birth control, no protection at all, and he came in me completely! Took Plan B! This happened during/after ovulating (more scary)! I was so scared!!! I took Plan B the next morning, 12 hours later. For more than a week, I had mild cramping, milky-white discharge, nausea, it was so scary I'll be pregnant! I was expecting my period to come at the beginning of the month, first week of March or so, my cycle is not regular, but my period came!! 9 days after taking Plan B, as I expected. If you see white discharge, don't freak out yet, I had it for almost 9 days!! It works!"

For Emergency Contraception "To the girl reading this, relax and breathe! This was my first time taking Plan B, and it worked, and I was terrified. I had unprotected sex on Nov. 27, and I took the pill in 12 hours. The only side effects are moodiness, and I was dizzy for a few minutes. I was supposed to get my period on Dec. 1, but it came on Dec. 2. It came with major cramps and nausea! So breathe, ladies, and stop stressing like I was."

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex the day before I was due to ovulate. Just my luck, the condom broke, and he came inside me. I took Plan B about an hour after the incident. The only side effects I experienced were light nausea and cramping. I was convinced it didn't work since I was so fertile at the time. I spent two weeks reading reviews like these and overanalyzing every little change in my body! A week and a half after I took the pill, I started experiencing brown discharge and was worried that it was implantation bleeding. Thankfully, today, three days later, AF arrived right on time! I would say this pill is effective, but the paranoia that comes with waiting around for your next period is enough to drive you insane."

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself to write a review if this product works. I had unprotected sex on the 12th day of my cycle, took Plan B 12 hours later. No side effects until one week of taking Plan B. My boobs started to hurt like anything, lower back pain, tiredness, nausea, specifically had pelvic pain. Then another week later (2 weeks after taking Plan B), I started to spot for 3 days (very light, pinkish) then nothing, no period! My period proper did not arrive on the day it's supposed to come. I was freaked out, did 5 pregnancy tests, all came back negative. I requested a blood test from my doctor, but then my period came finally. 2 days late. Hope this helps somebody..."

For Emergency Contraception "I realized I had been with my partner on a very fertile day, about 14 days before my period was due. I panicked and took Plan B about 20-24 hours later. I was able to buy it at Rite Aid over the counter, which was a relief! I took the pill and had no side effects until about the time my period was due, and then I got a migraine aura twice in a day. Very scary, but I am prone to migraine auras when my hormones change. I figured my period was very close, but it didn't come. I had no other symptoms except maybe slight nausea. Finally, 6 days later I started spotting and having cramps. Hallelujah! I've never been happier to get my period. It was 6 days late. So don't worry - this medication DOES work."

For Emergency Contraception "I promised I would write a review if this pill worked. This site was of great help to me when I was panicking. On the 20th April, I had unprotected sex and took a morning-after pill about 3 hours afterwards. It was two days to my ovulation day according to my period app. I felt a bit of nausea but it disappeared that day. On the 27th April, I started spotting 11 days before my period. It came with a lot of cramps, and I knew it was a side effect of the drug. The bleeding got heavy the next day, and it lasted for 6 days. My period was supposed to start on the 7th of May, but nothing came, and I waited for a week and still nothing, all the while I was getting mild cramps. I did like 10 pregnancy tests. I am in China, and the tests are very cheap. I read that one can still get negative results even when pregnant, and after about 24 days, I went to the hospital and did a pregnancy scan and found I was not pregnant. My period has not come. The drug can mess up your period, but take heart, it works."

For Emergency Contraception "The accident happened on Jan 11th, and I took Plan B One-Step about an hour after the accident. I felt that there were some side effects like nausea (which lasts an hour after I took the pill) and flatulence. But having these side effects is way better than having a baby. Two weeks later, I got my period, which is on time. I am so happy."

For Emergency Contraception "My last period was January 12, and on day 7, I had unprotected sex, he pulled out. I didn’t take Plan B January 11. I had spotting, and I freaked because I never have spotting. I thought it was implantation, turns out it was ovulation spotting, which means my ovulation was COMING. I never ovulate early, and then day 14 came around, and I had so much egg white cervical mucus (EWCM). I had unprotected sex on ovulation day, I'm stupid, right? After 2 rounds, I went to my local drug mart and got Plan B. I looked everywhere online that said Plan B is useless when you’re ovulating, so I was definitely pregnant. After I took it, I convinced myself I was pregnant because right after, I had nausea, cramps, and tender breasts. Luckily, I got my period 4 days early. I usually get my period on day 31. My advice is don’t Google your symptoms, be protected and be aware of ovulation, try to avoid having sex when you ovulate, okay? It worked for me on ovulation day, so it does work, don’t listen to others and TRUST THE PILL!!!! Love you, girlies❤️"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B pill 1 time before, and my period was on time. This time I was in full panic mode. I didn't use a condom, my BF came in me 3 days before ovulation. I took the Plan B pill 1 day before ovulating, 2 days before it was time for my period. I bled for 1 day very lightly, it wasn't even for the whole day. I was panicking, but I was hopeful. Time came up for my next period, it was 5 days late, and it was at that moment I knew I was pregnant. I started doing research on blogs or anywhere I could find information. I was stressing myself out and panicking. I tried to calm myself down because that would delay it more. I was looking at my breasts to see if they were getting dark. I had all sorts of pregnancy symptoms, but I was still praying because I wasn't throwing up, but I was nauseous. Then 2 weeks went by, and I'm still doing research. 3 and a half weeks later, my period came. I was so relieved, I never thought I would be so happy to see my period. So don't stress, the pill works, try to take it ASAP. Life happens."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill day 2 (8/10/19) of my fertile window about an hour after unprotected intercourse. Please note, I did not realize that I was in my fertile window until a week or so later. My partner did not use the withdrawal method, so we both started to freak out after reading that it wouldn’t work due to it being during the fertile window. About 2 to 3 days after taking it, I developed sore breasts. As the days and weeks went along, I felt every pregnancy symptom you can imagine to include fatigue, frequent urination, sore breasts, headache, and queasiness. In addition, I had diarrhea! I was convinced at times that I was pregnant and the pill had not worked because I literally just didn’t feel right. However, I am very happy that my period started today, 4 days before the expected day. This pill works!"

For Emergency Contraception "I'm writing this to calm the nerves of the constant Internet searches during this uncertainty period between taking Plan B and waiting for your period. I had sex a day before my ovulation day, the condom broke, and we didn't realize till he finished. I started freaking out since I knew that Plan B worked by delaying ovulation. Though my calendar said I would ovulate the next day, it wasn't 100% certain that I was already ovulating or finished ovulating. I took Plan B an hour after intercourse and asked the pharmacists if it would work during ovulation, and the pharmacist told me that it is recommended at any time of the cycle. I experienced headache, bloating, nausea, breast tenderness/swelling, and pre-ovulation discharge till I got my period!"
