Levemir (insulin detemir) for Diabetes, Type 2 "The new Levemir FlexPen is a mess to use. The strength required to operate the plunger at the end is prohibitive for those of us with less strength in our hand. It's difficult to operate. It is beyond me why you would release a product that is more difficult to operate than the previous pen. The drug is effective but the pen is a mess!"

Levemir (insulin detemir) for Diabetes, Type 1 "I have been using Levemir for 10 years. I have noticed the latest vials with expiration dates of 2024 have a different formula. My blood sugar is running lower than with previous vials. Has anyone else noticed the same?"

Levemir (insulin detemir) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I have been using Levemir for 3 1/2 weeks. My fasting blood sugar went from 208 to 123 and I have lost 9 lbs. It is very easy to use. Feel better than I have in over a year!"
