"Haldol has changed my life. For 30 years, I was living two realities: the real one, in which we all live, and a false delusion that wreaked havoc on my life, costing me a great deal both physically and emotionally. Haldol has been the answer to my prayers. It makes the psychosis and the psychotic anxiety, as well as the delusion, disappear. It's not like you forget, you still remember it, it just goes away, and life gets so much simpler. I take 1mg twice a day, and it has had an amazing impact. I experienced no significant side effects other than constipation in the beginning, but that has long since gone away. Overall, this drug is a godsend."

For Nausea/Vomiting "I experience nausea/vomiting related to my epilepsy after I have seizures. Sometimes it will last for over a week, and I mean vomiting lasting 4+ hours at a time. Luckily, this has no side effects for me besides sleepiness. Makes me feel better within a half hour. Zofran, Reglan, and Phenergan did me no good. It’s been a lifesaver for me."

"I was given this in the ER for stomach pain. Right after, I was sent home. I could barely walk as they watched me leave. Soon as I got home, I started feeling weird, couldn't walk or stand. I had bad anxiety, and I felt really dizzy, and I felt like I was going crazy. Then started the restless legs on top of already having RLS. I ended up back in the ER. My reaction was so severe I ended up in the hospital for a week. This drug needs to be removed from ER use."

For ICU Agitation "Helps with anxiety and racing thoughts. Calms my mood down when angry and upset. Side effect is weight gain and being tired."

For Tourette's Syndrome "I was on it for my Tourette’s, and yeah, it did work, but I gained over 100 lbs when I was on this medication, so I took myself off it because my doctors wouldn’t listen."
