For Mania "I’ve been on 0.5 mg of Haldol for 2 weeks now. I notice a relaxing effect on the brain. Just what I was looking for. Now I’m taking 0.5 mg twice a day and expecting even better results. I recommend this for anybody dealing with a “Pitbull Personality.” I’m better on it than off of it."

For Nausea/Vomiting "I experience nausea/vomiting related to my epilepsy after I have seizures. Sometimes it will last for over a week, and I mean vomiting lasting 4+ hours at a time. Luckily, this has no side effects for me besides sleepiness. Makes me feel better within a half hour. Zofran, Reglan, and Phenergan did me no good. It’s been a lifesaver for me."

"I was given this in the ER for stomach pain. Right after, I was sent home. I could barely walk as they watched me leave. Soon as I got home, I started feeling weird, couldn't walk or stand. I had bad anxiety, and I felt really dizzy, and I felt like I was going crazy. Then started the restless legs on top of already having RLS. I ended up back in the ER. My reaction was so severe I ended up in the hospital for a week. This drug needs to be removed from ER use."

For Psychosis "Haldol is a weird medication, it actually takes the psychosis away, and the sexual dysfunction that I got from olanzapine is gone once switching to Haldol. If you are on sedative medicine, switching to Haldol will make it possible to have sex again. Sixteen lost years on olanzapine without sex. With Haldol, however, we talk about a few months, and I had the ability to speak to females and actually have sex. If you read this, talk to your doctor for a switch. This medication is worth 10/10."

For ICU Agitation "Helps with anxiety and racing thoughts. Calms my mood down when angry and upset. Side effect is weight gain and being tired."
