For Hepatitis C "A pleasant update here from my review on April 24th (that included initial 20 hours of fatigue, possibly unrelated to Mavyret, followed by zero side effects experienced by the 8th day into the 8-week regimen). I just got blood test results from lab work taken after 4 weeks and 6 days of taking Mavyret. Result: Hep C is undetectable! Still no apparent side effects, other than possibly occasional brain fog, which may be more a result of preoccupation from personal issues and/or sinus-related due to allergy season. I never thought the only real hard part of taking this medication was going to be getting the pills out of the mini-box! (pushing the 3rd pill out is always the hardest strain on my thumb... 'Awwww...')"

"I'm a 22-year-old ex-IV drug user. I found out I had Hep C about 2 years ago when I got clean. I was undetectable at my 4-week blood draw, and I just finished my last dose of my 8-week cycle on June 7th. I had a little foggy brain and fatigue my first couple of days taking it, and that was it, nothing to miss work over. My worst side effect was just having to go to the bathroom more often. Since stopping Mavyret, I've had an upset stomach a couple of times, and I'm breaking out all of a sudden (I never really get pimples). I'm just going to assume it's the drug working its way out of my body. Overall, seems to be a great drug, well worth the little side effects I endured! (P.S. Take at night with a snack right before bed.)"

For Hepatitis C "So I just completed my Mavyret treatment, and the one thing I suggest is to take it at night before bed to avoid fatigue and brain fog. Always take it after a snack, and set a timer/reminder so you don't miss a dose. Will repost soon with my test results."

For Hepatitis C "My second day of Mavyret - type 2 hep C, minimal side effects, a little foggy, but nothing unreasonable. I feel great so far. I’m impressed, however, I have a long way to go."

For Hepatitis C "Have just been approved for Mavyret. Presumably infected in 1969 after being transfused with 17 pints of blood during emergency surgery... no IV drugs, tattoos, or piercings... not even ears. Learned of the infection in the late '90s after donating blood. Symptom-free and a low viral count since I started following this thing. Interferon and ribavirin for 18 months (!!) in the late '90s. Was brutal. Virus went undetected but returned. Insurer refused to approve Harvoni, MD said because my viral load was too low. Would like to hear more from people who report symptoms similar to Interferon: aches, joint pain, brain fog, nausea, headache, hair loss. I had them all with Interferon/ribavirin. Not supposed to happen with this drug. Waiting to see if I can get some help with the cost. Will be reporting back when I begin my 8-week program. Doc wanted me to do 12 weeks because of the relapse, but insurance would only cover 8. I'm very hopeful."
