For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Most definitely the worst experience I've ever had with medication. Horrible and constant vomiting, completely liquid and black diarrhea. I wasn't able to eat for 3 days, couldn't even drink without vomiting, couldn't sleep because of the constant vomiting and diarrhea, just absolute hell. I took the pill just a single time. One pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my first experience with this medication. I've taken 2 pills, one yesterday, one today. The only side effect I've experienced is diarrhea. I'm still itchy, no discharge or smell. Very uncomfortable. 3-7 days, 2nd infection ever, and this is by far the worst feeling ever."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have a weakened immune system due to my autoimmune disease medications I take daily. I tend to catch a yeast infection every now and then. This is my second time using fluconazole since last year. The first and second time I had one side effect. My two bowel movements in one day came out like diarrhea. Other than that, it has worked both times for me just fine."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The side effects of this drug were terrible. I had severe diarrhea for two days, and persistent vomiting for three days now. I also experienced a fever that lasted for 12 hours. Haven't been able to keep any food down and feel terrible. I honestly would rather have a yeast infection. If you plan on taking this medication, I'd recommend taking it over a weekend when you don't have anything going on, in case you get violently ill from it like I did."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I got a prescription to treat a vaginal yeast infection I've had for 2 weeks. On Friday, I took my first pill. I didn't see any changes right away, like a lot of people say they do. The next morning, Saturday, some of the itching went away, but it was still severe with swelling. Today is Sunday, I took my last dose. The itching and redness seemed worse than before when I woke up this morning. I took my last dose about 10 pm, it is now 1:30, and I don't feel any symptoms of the yeast. I still feel swollen, and I'm red down there. Hopefully, my last dose will knock this out. I do have a problem with constantly feeling gassy and having stomach pains when I take this medication. It also gives me diarrhea."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was given the pill, and symptoms were gone in 24 hours, but 2 days later it came back. I'm pretty upset. Now I'm gonna have to go back to the doctors just to get another medication or higher dosage. The only side effect I had was diarrhea."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is the third time I am having a yeast infection this year! They are so annoying! It all started after taking heavy doses of antibiotics thrice (the last one in April), but still the infection came back again in September. The first two times were okay with Canesten, and the symptoms were gone in 7 days, but this time it is damn red and itchy! Looks like a bad form. I was prescribed one dose of Diflucan, and today is the 2nd day. I felt it has made me itchier, and my periods are also due anytime. I hope it gets better by tomorrow (not seeing much difference though, in two days, only the discharge went away). Side effects are there, like diarrhea, stomach pain, and lightheadedness, but they are mild and manageable, thankfully."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had swabs taken, results were Candida. I have thrush a lot as I take regular antibiotics, a trip to the chemist usually helps, but this time I had to go see my doctor because nothing was working. She gave me one tablet, and within 4 hours, I had excruciating pain in my tummy and hot sweats, quickly followed by the most horrendous explosive diarrhea! It lasted about 30 minutes. I'm now knackered and need my bed (got a disabled son to look after though). Thrush symptoms feel better though. If you take this medication, it will work, but please, stay at home!"
