Fezolinetant "I’ve only been on Veozah for about a week, and I haven’t sweat during the night at all since I started taking it. I did feel a slight headache on maybe day 5, but nothing too bothersome. I felt like it worked almost the same day. After taking my first dose, I didn’t have a single hot flash for about half the day, and then I still experienced hot flashes, but not nearly as bad. It also doesn’t help that I’m in Arizona in the middle of summer. I’m hoping as time goes by they lessen their intensity, frequency, and duration. Overall, I think this can be life-changing for me and possibly others."

Fezolinetant "I've been taking Veozah for a month now, and I'm having just as many hot flashes as before. The only difference is that they are sometimes not as intense. I'm so disappointed. I changed to a more expensive Medicare drug plan that covers Veozah and still had to pay $541 for one month. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money for me."

Fezolinetant "Taking Veozah for more than a year. Before, I had 10-12 hot flashes during the day (almost every hour), but luckily not at night (unless something woke me up, then I would have one as soon as I woke up). Flashes also included nausea. Once I started taking Veozah, they almost immediately went away for long stretches of the day. After about 8 hours, I would start to get hot flashes again, not quite as intense, but still very uncomfortable. I wish I could try taking half a dose twice a day instead of one in the morning, but the indications definitely say to NOT do that. Overall, it has definitely been life-changing - I can now get through a workday or special occasion without worrying about having an episode! I have no noticeable side effects, but it doesn’t help with other menopausal symptoms (like vaginal dryness). So while it’s been a great quality of life enhancement, I am going to try HRT to see if I can get an overall better result."

Fezolinetant "I’ll be 55 in two months and decided to finally do something about my terrible hot flashes. I was prescribed a 45 mg tablet of Veozah. It’s tiny, so easy to take. It worked the first day I took it. I couldn’t believe it. My hot flashes and night sweats were gone. Absolutely life-changing. I’ve taken this medication for about four months now, and I’ve noticed that I’ll get a hot flash between 4-6:00 am. Then maybe a very mild one in the late afternoon. It’s nothing I can’t handle though, they are mild compared to before. I was truly suffering before Veozah. As far as side effects, the first day or two of taking this medication I was a little dizzy, nothing terrible, it subsided quickly, and I haven’t had any side effects since. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found this medication."

"I have found this drug to be beneficial. As a couple of others, night 1 after taking it was just incredible. Actually, I slept 5 hours straight, and when I did wake up, my clothes were not wet, which was quite a strange feeling as for many years, having to change 3 or 4 times a night was the norm for me. Needless to say, I'm over the moon. My only concern is I've not seen any comments about having caffeine with this drug as it's 'Not Recommended.' Which is my only concern as I don't drink coffee, but I am a diet coke drinker. Obviously, that's not something I can just stop drinking, so that's my question. Anyone else read this? So I'm just going to see how things go, fingers crossed. As with other reviews, the cost is the only issue, but if it works, I guess it's priceless. $60 in Australia."

"I have been taking Veozah for 30 days. I cannot take HRT because of breast cancer. I was experiencing severe hot flashes at the rate of 20 a day, and they were waking me up at least 4 times a night. I was miserable, couldn't sleep, had anxiety as I was wondering when the next hot flash was going to come. I felt relief on day 1 of taking Veozah. I have a couple of hot flashes each day, but they are much milder (about 80% milder), and I can now sleep through the night without waking up at all! I had a few headaches during the first week of use, along with some lower back pain, but all that disappeared after 10 days of use. Thank you for understanding the severity of what some of us women go through with these debilitating hot flashes and discovering a drug that actually works! I am forever grateful. I have my life back! My insurance does cover Veozah. $31 co-pay is what I pay."

Fezolinetant "Starting taking it about five months ago. I live in Geneva, Switzerland, and the medication is affordable. First night, night sweats disappeared. Hot flashes as well. I have been suffering with several flashes and night sweats for thirty years. It was a miracle. Month five, night sweats are back, and hot flashes sometimes last for hours without relief. I am in Ethiopia for two months, and the hotter clime is probably making it worse. My liver enzymes are fine. But not sure I should continue taking it if it is not longer effective."

Fezolinetant "Full-blown menopause hit me at age 54, it's been a year without periods. Hot flashes were so bothersome. I saw this advertising, thought I'd try it out. It worked immediately! I have no sleep issues. It's been about a month so far. I'm so grateful for this medication. Highly recommend if hot flashes are bothersome."

"I had a fuzzy head within a few minutes after taking my first tablet. Within 7 minutes, I could feel that the air conditioning was actually cold. What a great feeling! At the 3-week mark, I've started to get headaches that are now turning into migraines. My doctor is away, so I'm trying to find information on how to stop taking it. I'm going to try every second day, then third, which I really don't want to do as the hot body sweats will return. $75.50 in Australia, such a pity I just paid for a new script."

"I'm a researcher and work in phase 1-4 clinical studies. I started taking this drug, and it worked wonders for my 30-plus hot flashes a day until month six, when they started back. My doctor told me to go off of it for three days to allow my receptors to unclog. Has anyone else been told this? The protocol lasted a full year with no mention that some patients lost efficacy during that year. Odd that folks out here have had that happen."

"OMG this drug has literally changed my life. From drenching night sweats and hot flushes daily I now have zero hot flushes and have slept all night for the first time in years. This is a game changer! Best money I’ve spent and I have tried every single thing on the market so far. No mood changes no side effects happy happy happy"

"My experience started well - hot flashes completely stopped for 3 days - nothing at all, but then the cramps in the stomach started followed by the worst migraine, and all-over achy feeling. Then nausea, not hungry, and then the hot flashes started again - not too many and not so bad or lasting too long. Then I started waking up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep! Anxiety has also kicked in, so after weighing up the pros and cons, I stopped it. I was devastated as a migraine with aura sufferer at almost 53. I'm so over menopause or perimenopause or whatever hell this is. I was so hopeful of Veoza working, and it seemed to be but unfortunately, I've been advised to stop. Hope others have a better experience."

"I am on hormone therapy Exemestane to prevent my body from producing estrogen due to my breast cancer diagnosis in 2016. I get around 15-20 hot flushes per day, and this results in anxiety, heart palpitations, fatigue, and irritability. So, I saw this medication advertised on the news and a current affair, and so my doctor suggested I give it a go because it doesn't contain any hormones. So, I'm on my second day, and my life has changed. I only had 1 or 2 mild hot flushes and was able to sleep normally last night without being woken up 6 times during the night with a hot flush, and I feel calmer. It's about time a drug like this was produced, and I was able to claim most of it under my extras on my health insurance as a pharmacy item."

Fezolinetant "I saw this Veozah commercial during a vacation. Since I was pulled off the HRT due to turning 60, I was experiencing 12-20 hot flashes a day. I was absolutely miserable. I started to research Veozah, and at that time it was not FDA approved. One year later, I saw the commercial again and called my doctor and asked if I could be prescribed that medicine. They prescribed reluctantly. They did not have a lot of patients on it, insurance companies were not approving it, and liver enzymes increased. I took my first dose. I had not one hot flash that day, nor a night sweat. It was a miracle! I am thinking, this cannot be real. The next day, again no hot flashes, not one. I have had no side effects at all to date, and I have been on it for two months. I will have my first liver function blood test in a few days. I pray that it is fine because I do not want to be pulled off. The creators need a Nobel Prize. Thank you to whoever took the time and energy to create this drug. I have my life back!"

"I have been taking this medication for 4 months, and I thought I had found a miracle cure. My hot flushes were so bad before that I didn't know how to cope with them, mood swings, and irritability. For 4 months, it's been bliss, but my hot flushes and mood swings are starting to appear again. Where do I go from here? HRT is not a drug I can take. While this drug worked short term, life was great."

Fezolinetant "I have always sweated more in the heat than other people, but menopause threw me over the edge. I had daily hot flashes, and when it was hot out, I would sweat so much my hair would be wet. I was drenched after exercising. I had fans all over the house and in my purse. I started taking Veozah (due to a family cancer history, no HRT) in August 2024. Unbelievable! It has been life-changing since the first dose. I don't sweat for 20 minutes after I shower, I sweat much less when exercising and no longer carry fans everywhere. I highly recommend it. It has been life-changing for me!"

Fezolinetant "I was experiencing an ungodly amount of hot flashes and other common menopausal symptoms like agitation, sleep issues, reduced libido, and I was given a month sample of Veozah, and it has made a huge difference in all these symptoms. My hot flashes are almost gone, sleep issues better, and libido is better. Highly recommend trying this if you are on the fence!"

Fezolinetant "I have been on Veozah for about 6 months. Within days, all hot flashes went away. I was ecstatic as I had severe symptoms. I would say within 3 months I started to notice heat during the day a little—and a little at night. Now, the flash is ON at night and somewhat during the day. I have had no symptoms of relief with Veozah, and I will keep monitoring and taking it. Bottom line: some flashes have come back. Maybe 10-15%. The night flashes, although fewer, are at least once per night now, and I am clammy, sweaty, hot, and cold again. I am a breast cancer survivor, so I won’t chance HRT. This can be such a hard trudge. Never give up!"

Fezolinetant "2 years on Veozah, and it has changed my life. After suffering hot flashes for over 20 years, this has helped. Some night sweats still, but tolerable. I do not get stomach cramps but do get a little dizzying effect at times. My good results far outweigh the bad. I had the company discount, but my insurance started covering it. Still costs $50 a month."

Fezolinetant "I started taking Veozah for about 5 days, until I started to notice that I was getting headaches, cramps in my lower abdomen, and I also spit up a little blood. So unfortunately, I have to stop using it, but it did stop the hot flashes and fatigue for that period of time. I was so happy, until all those symptoms started. Maybe it will work for other people without giving them that kind of symptoms that I went through. So I will stay with these hot flashes and fatigue for now, but it was nice to stop feeling them for a few days."
