For High Cholesterol "10 days post first Repatha injection, and despite knowing how to inject it, I have the most ridiculous bruise on my stomach. On day 9, I went to the ER because I suspected I had another rare sphenoid sinus infection, which is quite rare. CT scans were negative, so they say, despite giving me medication, saying maybe it's starting because it didn't seem they wanted to blame it on Repatha, and perhaps these symptoms are something that I am used to with this sort of chronic infection. I have headaches I can hardly describe. I don't necessarily feel lightheaded but like my head is heavy, swollen, and the pain moves around. I get bouts where I feel dizzy and the world is spinning. I am having sensory issues with sound, light, and motion. I thought a slight burning pain for a few hours in my arm was weird a few hours after my injection into my stomach was the worst of it, but I had no clue what was in store. I am barely starting day 10, but I am done. I want this out of me! Never again."

For High Cholesterol "I have taken 1 injection of Repatha, it's been 6 days now. I have had the worst cold and flu for the first 3 days. I never have the flu or cold, which was unusual for me. Since Repatha, I have had pain in the back of my head, behind my ears, in my jaws, the pain comes and goes. Also, I have had raised blood pressure, which I have never had. I have been getting frequent dizzy spells and cold chills every day since the injection 6 days ago. Won't be taking the second injection. Hope the side effects stop soon."

For High Cholesterol "Four hours after my first injection, I woke up and couldn't feel my feet, arms, or upper body... all of which were numb, tingling, and burning. I immediately got a migraine that day and several days after. Muscle spasming and neuropathy in my feet, and I could not walk because my feet hurt and burned so badly. Sores and burn-like lesions on my feet, which still have not gone away four weeks after stopping Repatha. Debilitating neck and head pressure, pop sound/bubbling in my head, and five visits to the ER with anxiety, heart racing, and blood pressure 200/111, which also found that I now have an aneurysm in my carotid artery and a dissected artery in my brain above my left temple, where the popping feeling was. After one use!! Still cannot go out in the cold for more than a minute because my whole body burns from the cold, terrible nerve issues, and tingling and burning in my face and scalp still. Still cannot walk well and dizziness when standing or walking. Have not been able to work in four months. Repatha ruined my quality of life!!"

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Have had great results but have a continuing problem with sneezing and a runny nose, also back pain and dizziness. Went to the allergist and checked nothing wrong there. Problem always gets worse after the shot."

For High Cholesterol, Familial Heterozygous "I have very high cholesterol, up into the high 300s. I'm lean and an avid exerciser. I have been on every statin with no results, so doc put me on Lipitor (40 mg) and Zetia. I was so dizzy due to the Zetia, and my cholesterol was barely lowered. So next up was Repatha - I was side effect-free for a year until I developed massive hives, constant low back pain, flu-like symptoms (all within the last year and a half), and now I can't walk without feeling like falling down. I'm going in for a brain MRI, electrocardiogram, and ultrasound of the carotid artery - bloodwork all normal. Meanwhile, my sinuses are full, and my quality of life has gone downhill from using this drug. I've gone from walking 9 miles a day to not being able to walk. My cholesterol is down to 200. If my tests come back normal, I'm getting off this drug."

For High Cholesterol "I’m 68, active female. High cholesterol of 350. I’ve taken the Repatha shot twice after trying Praluent a year ago. The injection stung more than Praluent. Small headache most days, but not terrible. Runny nose and small cough every day. Started with dizziness within three days. Vertigo soon after. Hard bumps, rash on my back. Within ten days, I had fatigue and malaise. Stopped my daily walks. Muscle soreness, not terrible. Breathing difficulty sometimes, like I was at altitude. Weird pangs in my heart started the third week. Sleep apnea during afternoon naps. I'm not taking my scheduled dose this week. It’ll take 60-90 days to be out of my system. I can’t wait. I’m sure it helps with my LDL as the Praluent did a great job too, but at what cost? I’ll go back to Crestor and deal with its side effects again. This drug is scary. Monoclonal antibodies for my liver? No thanks."

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I've been taking Repatha on the advice of my doctor. Tried a few different statins, Lipitor, Crestor, and been having a difficult time with them. Maybe that's what leads us to a drug that can be so harmful? Not to mention my cardiac history, I guess I have to feel that I would definitely give it my best try. I don’t know yet if it has worked wonders for my cholesterol because my blood work is not in yet, but I can only guess most likely it has lowered mine like the rest of yours. After 4 injections, I’m noticing quite a few side effects. Finger and toe pain. Arm and shoulder pain with neck pain running up the back to my head. I have plates in the back of my neck which are being aggravated. Dizziness, a feeling of extreme forgetfulness. Describing it to my husband (fogginess). Lack of urination, dangerous for a heart patient, and constipation. Extreme night sweats! Weight gain."

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Dec 15, had my first and only Repatha injection in the doctor's office with 4 samples to take home while getting drug plan approval. After a day and a half, got terribly dizzy and afraid to walk. Took ginger capsules with some relief, but occasional dizzy feelings-though much less-persist 5 1/2 weeks later. The next day, horrible cramps and diarrhea. Unable to sleep at night, and Imodium not fully effective. My belly still acts up out of the blue. Occasional surprise random symptoms like terrible post-nasal drip with thick, choking phlegm. Hip muscles hurt at night and interfere with sleep, though I have no hip arthritis on x-ray. Occasional sore throat and flu-ish feelings come and go. Eyes are dry and blurry. Not taking another dose; I gave my samples to someone who can take it. Retired medical professional."

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I cannot tolerate statins, and unfortunately, I have also found this to be true for Repatha. I took Repatha for two months, and during that time, I ended up barely able to move my legs. The negative symptoms started around six weeks into the treatment. I have stopped taking the drug for about two weeks now, but I still experience residual effects. While my legs feel fine when I'm sitting, they quickly become sore when I start to move. At times, I also feel a little dizzy when I stand up, and my balance and movement are not as good as they were before I took the drug."
