"I just started this pill Tri-Sprintec 2 days ago for ovarian cysts, and I have high hopes for it. I went through so many doctors who told me everything was fine with me but I knew something was wrong. Finally I found a doctor that actually ran the blood tests for me and diagnosed me with PCOS. I’m 27, I can’t believe it took this long for someone to listen! Anyways! I was dealing with extreme anxiety and constant agitation for years, and starting this pill I finally feel normal. Thank god! No mood swings and mini rages. I’m excited to finally have something that works for me!"

"I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 14 and I'm now 23. I've been on and off different forms of BC. Tri-Sprintec is the ONLY form of BC that has helped me. My periods are regulated, I have no acne, no unwanted facial hair, and it hasn't made me gain any kind of weight. The only negative affect I've experienced with Tri-Sprintec is an occasional headache. Other than that, it works great!"

"My senior year in high school I gained a lot of weight, we figured out it was all PCOS related. (60 pounds and I was a varsity athlete, now a high school graduate). I was an emotional wreck from the mood swings I had due to hormone imbalances. Tri-sprintec was perfect for me. It brought me back to normal, and after only 4 months on the pill I lost 20 pounds. I became happy me again. My periods returned, scene cleared up, and mood swings ended. Tri-sprintec, however, significantly increased my sex drive. It was there a little before the PCOS symptoms became noticeable. Then I had no sex drive from PCOS, but since I started it my sex dive has been pretty high for an 18 year old. Anyway, I would say if you have PCOS this pill rocks."

"I went to the ER because I was having horrible pains in my lower pelvic area. I’ve never engaged in sexual activity at the time so STIs we’re out of the question. Also, I hadn’t had a period in about 7 months. They found a small ovarian cyst on my Fallopian tube. Nonetheless, my gynecologist prescribed me Tri-Sprintec and I’ve had positive results from it overall. I’ve been taking it since 2014. My periods have become regulated and I lost the weight that I gained during those months I didn’t have a period. The only negative thing I can say about it is that, mood swings are horrible. I’ve always been a sensitive person but sheesh, this made me even more sensitive. I acknowledge it and I try to keep my mood under control."

"I just started taking this Tri-Sprintec about a week ago, and my mood swings aren’t very good. But I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 20years old and now am 24. I was on some other bc pills which I don’t even remember the name and it wasn’t doing anything..I wouldn’t have my period for like 3 months straight, all the stubborn facial hair and everything was still the same. I hope this Tri-Sprintec helps me.. I don’t even know what to do with my self lol, I’ve seen soo many good reviews about it and specifically asked my Dr for it, so I’m hoping by the time am done with this first pack, I should see a difference."

"Been taking Tri-Sprintec for 3 weeks now. Week one was a breeze. For the other 2 weeks, here’s what I’ve experienced thus far: headaches, a little bit of nausea, sore boobs and a bigger appetite & I gained 5 pounds (I’m skinny, so I don’t mind it) I haven’t had any bad break outs, no mood swings, nothing crazy. I don’t really enjoy the headaches and nausea but I haven’t experienced anything CRAZY."

"In early November of 2016, I was Diagnosed with PCOS. I was prescribed birth control named " Tri-Sprintec",and a 100 mg per pill diuretic named, "spiralactone." The reason I was easily diagnosed with PCOS is due to the unbelievable painful menstrual periods I would experience time after time. Not only that, random black hairs would pop up around my face and I'd have to constantly, routinely, pluck my chin for to get rid of the single course black stubborn hairs. Before I had my medication my acne and facial hair was terrible my depression and anxiety made me want to hide. After 3 months of the combinations it meds I have notice an instant improvement to my skin. I can't wait for the day where I'm completely acne free"

Now im goin through the process of coming off of it and my husband and I want to start a family.Your periods will lighten up and get shorter and last a few days!!!! In my case ive stabilized in areas except that I cry alot lol. Its a good bc it has its ups and downs like they all do!"

"I have been on Tri-Sprintec for 8 years now (I'm 24 years old) to help regulate my irregular hormone levels due to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I have not had any side effects of the pill...well, maybe some mood swings, but nothing that wouldn't be caused by that time of the month already! I have gained a considerable amount of weight since I have been on this particular birth control (approximately 50 pounds), but that is the only real issue. I have been regular for the past 8 years, down to the exact day and almost time of the day so there are no surprises. Everyone's body reacts differently to medications, I'm pleased that this birth control did the job for me!"

"This form of birth control helps with my making my period lighter and way less painful but it has caused me to have both weight gain and crazy mood swings. I've only been on this pill for 5 months but it's already causing me a headache. I feel depressed at times, upset and even having problems when it comes to my sex drive. I'm not sure if that's this birth control or what but I'm only 21. I shouldn't be having these problems."

"This pill made my anxiety terrible!!! My hormones were so out of wack while taking the pill. I would get so dizzy which was very scary. Not to mention my breasts always hurt. The different amount of hormones each week really messes with your body! I used to be on just sprintec and it was way better than tri sprintec '!!"

"I started taking this pill at the start of this month, I'm now on week 4 and completely miserable. I noticed almost straight away that my moods, which aren't that great to begin with, but bearable, have worsened. I can't stand to be around myself because of the mood I'm in all the time. This started about 2 days after I started the pill and has only gotten worse as the month carried on. Now that I'm on the placebo week my period which is normally light/medium to medium flow is so incredibly heavy. My doctor prescribed me this for my PCOS to help regulate my periods till my husband gets over and we can start trying for a baby, but I think I'd much rather just deal with my periods being out of whack than this. "I really liked this pill in the beginning. Two full months later I am very nauseous, my anxiety is worse, and I have tiny dizzy spells that last from my fifth day of my period to the beginning of a new cycle. I am so miserable this time of the month that I've had to cancel several social outings. I saw my dr today and she switched me to plain Sprintec. I hope this works. On the bright side, my periods are on time, lighter bleeding, and minimal cramps"

"In a year I’ve tried taking these about two times (on different months) and never make it to the second day. Both times I took them at night. The first I woke up the following day feeling so sick that I had to go to work late until I threw it up and the second time I took it around 10 and woke up at 3 am feeling sick, I legit felt like I was going to die! I had to be in fetal position and then walk around cause I couldn’t take the stomach pain. Again, until I threw it up was when I felt better. Can’t even make it to the second day because the way it makes me feel is so horrible. I personally don’t recommend and this is coming from someone who has a high pain tolerance."

"I have lost count of how many different pills and dosages I was prescribed for my ovarian cysts over the years. Sometimes I had several and sometimes one very large single cyst on one side. Regardless, it was painful and disruptive to life for about two weeks out of the month. FINALLY, I was prescribed Tri-Sprintec. By my 3 month check up, they were gone. My pain had stopped about or before two packs in. It was the first time I had a normal sonogram in years. Periods very regular. I plan to be on this pill until we are ready to try for a baby. (It has also worked as birth control. It’s the first time I don’t think I’m ovulating while I’m on a pill)"

"I've been on Ortho, Aviane and this one. Ortho was my favorite. Aviane was not good. As for this one, the first months it gave me whiteheads. It went away and ever since my skin has been amazing. I think I had one pimple since. I seemed to feel decent. Then I noticed my period wasn't that light. I get weird abdominal pains. I feel like I have fatigue and I'm tired. This pill gives me really bad headaches at the 4th week that makes me unproductive. But the worst thing is that I seem to have developed depression. I'm not as zombie like with aviane, but I feel bipolar and I feel like my pressure is up. I have anxiety and trouble sleeping. The depression seems to be getting worse and worse every time the 4th week comes around. I have 0 sex drive with my husband and I don't even enjoy food. But there's times where my mood is good and other times I feel practically suicidal. It's scary. Unfortunately, I need to take a break from bc and see what's going on."

"I use this for ovarian cysts and birth control. I have always had large painful cysts and ovulation for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried countless brands of birth control pills and none worked. Yes, it makes you somewhat more emotional and I do feel some brain fog BUT it is nothing compared to the severe mood swings I would have on every other pill, including low dose pills. I rarely feel ovulation pains and, when I do, they are tolerable - not like before. If you have painful cysts, I recommend giving this a try."
