Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "It is week two of having COVID, and I was sick and tired of not being able to breathe. I ran out of NyQuil and searched around my medicine bin for something to help. I found an old pack of Bronkaid, and my God, it was a life saver. It really helped the symptoms of COVID. 10/10 would recommend."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "First-time user. Was having a slight deep cough, which alone would've been fine, but it was accompanied by shortness of breath, wheezing, and tightness in my chest (common asthma symptoms). I haven't had this problem in years, so I asked a pharmacist. She recommended this, and one dose made a huge difference. The tightness went away, and the breathing got so much better. Even the slight cough was productive now. Definitely recommend this to anyone with the same symptoms."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin "I have asthma and ran out of my rescue inhaler. I took one dose of Bronkaid and my chest tightness and wheezing diminished within half an hour. Normally, if I do not have a rescue inhaler, I would continue to get more short of breath and my wheezing would worsen severely. I highly recommend trying Bronkaid if you find yourself in a similar situation."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "Really effective for COPD and recurring pneumonia. I actually used it occasionally a few years ago, but then due to new laws, couldn't find it anymore. I recently bought one that I noticed behind the counter at the Safeway pharmacy and remembered why I liked them so well. Works great for clearing my morning airways!"

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "New formula with pill imprint BRONK25, they basically removed the guaifenesin (Primatene Tablets had to do the same, not sure why). Anyhow, it's been a lifesaver. Have never tested positive for COVID, but started having shortness of breath episodes a few months back. My heart checks out, Dr. said my oxygen levels were fine, so I don't know what's going on. All I know is this relieves the symptoms within 20 minutes, and I feel much less panicked by the SoB symptoms."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin "I'm 52 years old, and I've had the annoying type of asthma that acts up if I laugh too hard, breathe something even slightly offensive, or even swallow wrong sometimes; then it's all downhill from there. I've had this since childhood; I believe they now call it eosinophilic. Anyhow, this usually involves a cough-wheeze fest that really doesn't just 'go away.' Very annoying and makes you feel awful. Now, I do not have insurance and not much money, and the only real access to inhalers has been from my mom, as she has the same thing as I. However, somehow, many years back, and I forgot how or by whom, I found out about Bronkaid; I tell you what, it works wonders for me, and for me, it lasts a very long time. I only take one when I'm getting one of those wheeze-cough attacks, and it clears it within around 10 minutes; in my case, I don't end up using another for many days. However, when I use the bronchodilator I have, that only lasts a few hours at best."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "A few years ago, I was on an immunosuppressive medication and kept getting upper respiratory infections. This really helped me breathe better, especially at night. I've had COVID-19 twice and took this both times. Ephedrine / guaifenesin "I have been taking Bronkaid for well over five years. Started taking it to help me clear my lungs while exercising. It has always helped. Whenever I get a cold or congested chest due to allergies, I take one dose in the AM and another at night. This drug helps me each and every time. Now I have contracted COVID and it has helped with chest congestion. Every person is different. I have never developed side effects while I just read that some people have developed some heavy side effects. Talk to your doctor, he may not recommend it. I did, and he told me to try it the first time five years ago or so. And I am good using it."

For Cold Symptoms "I've taken Primatene off and on now for 50 years, and it's excellent for helping me breathe and only takes a couple of minutes for it to start working. Right now, they are off the shelf again, which really ticks me off, it's ridiculous also to have to obtain them by showing ID over the pharmacy counter. Brokaid doesn't work for me at all, so please get Primatene back on the shelves or where it can be ordered online. It's not covered by insurance, but should be, that's for sure -- the cost has risen over the years as everything else has, and I am hoping they don't raise it again."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin "I have been using Bronkaid for many years on an as-needed basis. I used to get bronchitis that led to walking pneumonia every Spring & Fall when the weather changed. Now, as soon as I breathe in and feel that painful catch, I take a Bronkaid and it stops both the bronchitis and walking pneumonia from developing. I haven't had bronchitis or walking pneumonia for over 10 years thanks to this medicine. Most times I only need to take it a few times to prevent bronchitis from taking hold and developing. This also means I don't need antibiotics to remove the inflammation from my lungs. This medicine is a lifesaver for me."

For Cold Symptoms "This is a better cold and cough medicine combination than the others. I have been using it for about 5 years, but only when I get a cold and once in a while. Also for shortness of breath since a cold triggers my very low-grade asthma/bronchitis symptoms. Ask your doctor before taking this medicine."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "DO NOT USE. I was given this from a pharmacist when I was without my albuterol inhaler while on vacation. I was immediately hospitalized for symptoms of a heart attack and have since been hospitalized 3 more times for the aftereffects. I now have a disorder called dysautonomia that has caused me to faint, have heart palpitations, have extreme nausea, chest pains, inability to swallow, loss of appetite, migraines, neck pain, dizziness, etc. for over two weeks. It was only one dose of the inhaler that did this to me. Every doctor I have spoken to cannot believe that it is sold on shelves as it is extremely dangerous."

Ephedrine / guaifenesin for Cold Symptoms "This product is terrible. I don’t have heart problems or high blood pressure, so I took one. It didn’t seem to help, so I took another when it was time. I got so much worse. I had to go to urgent care, and my blood pressure was so high I almost had a stroke off of only two doses. I do not recommend this product, and now I’m stuck with high blood pressure ever since."
