For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I've been using Jublia for 11 months. I don't see clearing yet, it's very frustrating. Also, have some swelling to the foot itself. I am not sure if it is a side effect or not and need help since my family doctor has since retired. Thank you."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have been using Jublia for about 6 months on my big toe. I cannot tell if it is working. I had the fungus on both nails and got rid of it soaking in diluted bleach (a dermatologist told me to do this), but then it came back on one toe. So, I am trying Jublia. So far, I am getting it for free through Walgreens. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. I had also done the laser treatment too, and it didn't work for me."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I've got one toe with a fungal infection, have tried everything. Using Jublia for 5 months now. Some improvement, better than anything else. I would like to keep using this, however, the price is ridiculous. The cost is $1000 a month. After insurance, I'm left with nearly $300/month for this medicine. HOW can this possibly cost this much? For one toe, I can't justify this. I'm very disappointed as I think it will probably clear this toe up, but seriously... GREEDY company..."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I had five toenails affected with nail fungus. My podiatrist put me on Jublia 15 months ago. I have had 4 laser treatments and have faithfully used Jublia every morning for 15 months. I have kept my nails clean and short. At the beginning of my treatment, I was getting a bottle of Jublia delivered to my home at no cost for about 8 months. One bottle would last about 3 weeks. Then suddenly, I wasn't getting refills. After several phone calls, I was told I needed to pay $40 per bottle. I was okay with that, as I really wanted to continue the treatment for one year as recommended by my doctor. After I began paying for it, I noticed the bottle was actually full and lasted about 6 weeks. I have only seen a slight improvement. Didn't work!!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have been using Jublia for the last 7 months. It has worked on my small toenails but not much improvement on the big toenail. I am willing to keep using it for the next few months. Hopefully, the big toenail will heal. If not, I will try laser treatment."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I'm a foot care nurse. A patient's doctor prescribed this. I debride her nails to reduce the thickness with sterile tools. It'll take at least a year to go away as it takes a year for toenails to grow out. Fungus lives in the nail bed. Unless we debride nails, the fungal ointment won't easily get in to kill the fungus. Regular foot care via a foot nurse, podiatrist, or chiropodist is important as we're the foot specialists. A medical doctor is important if you want prescribed ointments ongoing, otherwise, get over-the-counter Fungo Nail. Plus, for diabetics, foot screenings each year via the doctor, as well as via your foot specialist, are very important as foot ulcers that lead to amputations are fully prevented this way. Have patience as there is no fast fix with fungal nails. It's a rotten nail, the new one is growing underneath. The ointment will prevent the new one from also going fungal and must be applied twice daily until it's fully gone, and that will likely be at least a year."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have had fungal toenails on 4 toes for decades. I used one bottle of Jublia and could see improvements. Unfortunately, partway through the second bottle, I developed an allergic reaction - severe itching and blistering. It is too severe to continue. One application causes the severe blisters, redness, itching, and weeping. It is disappointing but not uncommon for me to develop skin allergies. I have also developed reactions to tea tree oil, Vick's Vapor Rub, benzoyl peroxide."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "First off, I have to say I'm in the early stages of using Jublia, and it's as if the fungus is 'fighting back' - a few nails have become worse since I started. I am going to give it a chance though, despite the $125 per bottle cost."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have been using it for about a month, and it seems to be working. If you are in the U.S., order it from an online Canadian pharmacy. Even though insurance doesn’t pay, it costs $130 for an 8ml bottle versus $650 in the U.S. with insurance."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I began experiencing toenail fungus-like symptoms around mid-2017. It was more yellow as I entered into 2018, and soon after, my other big toenail was affected and turning yellow. I finally saw my family physician two years later. My left toenail was particularly worse. The nail had thickened so much, it made it nearly impossible to cut it properly. I had deep Beau's lines, worse on my left toe. I was prescribed Jublia for potential fungus. I applied it nearly religiously for one year; after one year, my nails are mostly healthy. I still have at least an inch of yellow nails. My left toe is mostly healthy; however, my fungus was so deep that the healthy nail still hasn't fully grown because the nail that did grow out is still yellow. However, it is a massive improvement. The lines have disappeared. This medication takes ages to work, if it does. It's been over a year, and I still have some yellow. My toenails are slow to grow out, and to help my left toe, I am still applying Jublia."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Have been using this product for about 6 months and have seen a healthier toenail. A trip to a salon for a pedi gave me this condition. I'm discouraged reading the other reviews, my hope was for a complete cure, however, there is improvement, time will tell. I've been told it can take up to a year for treatment to work completely. My nail isn't as thick, and the skin around the nail bed isn't as dry and peeling. I'm lucky my insurance and co-pay coupon have resulted in zero out-of-pocket cost. Jublia is insanely expensive."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have taken Jublia for 40 weeks now. Almost the required 48 weeks. Of the five infected toenails, 2 are completely cured, 1 is still infected with no change, 1 is 50% cured, and the big toe is probably 80% fungus-free. So it is better than nothing, but it definitely isn't the cat's pajamas in fungus treatment."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "After 3 years and over $1000 spent on Jublia, I can finally report my toenail fungus has been eradicated! For years, I had tried every over-the-counter and homeopathic treatment for my toenail fungus, but nothing worked. My dermatologist recommended and prescribed Jublia for me after I revealed that I had had hepatitis as a kid and thus was not a candidate for terbinafine (Lamisil). She said the reason Jublia worked better than over-the-counter meds was that it was extremely thin and thus could penetrate the toenail better. I felt it was my last option, so I went with it. The directions for application of Jublia are to apply it daily, 10 minutes after showering or bathing. I was religious about applying it daily, but because I cruise on a boat, showering is inconsistent. Thus, 95% of the time, I was not able to apply Jublia when my nails were nice and soft. I believe this is why my results were slow in coming. However, the progress was constant, if slow, but worth it."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have used Jublia for 6 months, and it seems to be working. The price in the US is outrageous. $650 a bottle with insurance. I ordered the same product from a Canadian pharmacy where it is manufactured, and it cost $135 with no insurance. Don’t waste your money."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "The medicine was effective, and I was beginning to see improvement in my nail after a few months, then started having painful redness, blisters, itching, and swelling. It is miserable. I've stopped using it until all these side effects go away. I'm very disappointed in having to stop using Jublia, as it was really beginning to get rid of the fungus. Before I knew what was causing these problems, I asked my dermatologist if it could be the medicine, and he said he'd never had a patient to have these side effects using it. I found out on my own that it was the Jublia."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Use this for about nine months. I have one toe that is about 70% cleared up, this is my big toe on my left foot. My toenail fungus is severe and all toenails on my left foot. Also, I have fungus on my big toe and little toe of my right foot, but very little and not severe. The medicine seems to help with keeping my right foot nails in check, but not completely clearing them up. On my left foot, my toes are severely infected and only the big toe and one other are obviously getting better, but only the big toe is far along. I plan on continuing the medicine for as long as I can. I've had fungus on my toenails for 11 years and tried several different approaches to clearing it, with this one being the only one to cause new clear nail."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Have three fingernails with a problem. Been taking the medication for 6 months now. One nail is cleared up but not the other two. Seems to help if you lightly file the top of the nail occasionally before applying. Perhaps this helps the medication penetrate the nail. That's the whole problem with nail fungus. You've got to get the medication to the fungus, or nothing happens. My PPO plan must be good because my cost is only $40/month, with the first month free."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have toenail fungus. I put Jublia on every day. I keep seeing my doctor, and he told me my new toenail is growing out slowly. You need to use Jublia for 48 weeks every day. Do not miss a day. Cut the old toenail off while the new toenail is growing to replace the old toenail. Takes more than 2 years for this process."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have been using Jublia for 5 months. I have the fungus on all toes except the middle toe on my right foot. At this time on my left foot, the middle and index toes are almost completely cured. The big toe is half cured. The hardest to cure are the two end toes. The same goes for my right foot, except that the middle toe was spared from the fungus. I have found that it must be applied daily, after bathing, and let it dry before putting on socks. It is a slow process, but I think it will work over time. I hope folks can afford it, it seems to be worth it to me! Good luck!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "You can get a manufacturer’s coupon that will reduce the cost from $700 to $65. Only one coupon every 30 days, though, and a bottle doesn’t last 30 days. I also bought an OTC and used Jublia in the morning and the OTC at night. My nails were about 50% involved in the early stages and were clear in 6 months with new growth. BUT less than a month later, the fungus started thickening my nail again. So it is not penetrating as advertised to the nail bed. 8 years ago, I did laser treatment when two nails were in VERY bad shape. Grew back clean and stayed clean until last year."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have been using Jublia for about six months. The treatment started at the end of August. It is true that the solution wasn't applied each evening, sometimes as per the recommended prescription. This treatment really works, and the toenails look much better. One month ago, I started to get changes in my vision, with terrible headaches that appeared on a daily basis. I was wondering if this condition could be a side effect of long-term usage of this drug. I would appreciate it if I could get feedback from the manufacturer."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "See a podiatrist first, not your GP. See someone who specializes in the feet. They will cut away as much toenail as they can, then grind down the nail. If you don't grind down the top of the nail, Jublia won't be able to penetrate. Then use Jublia as prescribed. But see a podiatrist, they specialize in this stuff."
