For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I applied Jublia nightly to my right bud toe. At about day 32, it began to get sore. After two more days, the toe was becoming reddened, inflamed, a bit swollen, and small blisters appeared on the skin near the nail. Most of that nail or the area beneath the nail appears white. I discontinued the med at that point. At 39 days, the inflammation persists. There is some weeping serous fluid coming from under the nail. Still quite swollen. Don't think it's infected, but I'll keep an eye on it, of course. Would NOT recommend."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "DO NOT use with Atorvastatin for high cholesterol! I had extreme muscle pain & degeneration in back, waist down & thighs until I finally realized I had to be drug interaction! Azole antifungals should never be used with statins. (Found out in internet searching; within NIH study warning physical therapists that some patients’ problems might be due to statin use.) Azole antifungals and statins use the same pathway in the body; you get destroyed! I was feeling like a 90-yr. old lady; it affected me cognitively, also. Once I stopped both, I got better & better; probably had rhabdomyolysis - damaging muscle cells. I am not as good as I once was; you can’t grow new muscle cells. Your doctor probably doesn’t even know about the interaction of azoles & statins - most can’t keep up, knowing all details. *Used Jublia for 3 mos., 2x a week, not daily. Sorry, it happened 5 years ago - should’ve warned sooner. See, it still affects me; it’s on my mind!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I thought Jublia was working after faithfully using it daily for 48 weeks. However, yesterday I noticed more of my toenail had lifted away from the nail bed. I now have about half of my big toenail. It obviously isn’t working for me. I have had no side effects while using it."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I've been using Jublia daily for 8 months now, and my toenail has just gotten progressively worse. When I first went to the podiatrist, my big toenail was still pink at the bottom and was just yellow at about the top third. My nail is now entirely yellow, and about a third has crumbled away at the top."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have used Jublia for 6 years and still have toenail fungus, now on three nails instead of just one. I apply Jublia daily, change my socks every day, and sometimes twice when I change shoes, and spray the insides of my shoes with Tinactin twice a week. I have supplemented this regimen with monthly soaks with bleach. Frustrated!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Prescribed by doctor for nail fungus on fingernails. Nails lifted and got worse, cuticles swelled and oozed yellow, fingertips blistered, painful. Used for 1 month. Went through multiple prescriptions for skin infections. Went to a London Drugs pharmacy to talk to a pharmacist. He took one look and suggested a dermatologist for possible reactions and recommended stopping everything and just keeping nails dry and letting them heal. Went to the doctor, and he agreed. Stop using Jublia. 2 months later, when my hands were better but still dealing with nail fungus - and waiting for nail culture. Tried it once as per directions and went through 5 days of swelling, itching, burning, and blisters. Horrible product. Took Lamisil pills for a month, and nail fungus is stopped and my nails are healthy. Just a heads up for anyone else, using the product and possibly being told to be patient, keep using it - it’s simply the debridement from the nail growing out."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Too expensive. This little bottle doesn’t work really well, in my personal opinion. Other friends who have been treated say the same. Ridiculous price. They take advantage that there is no generic for this."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I bought a 4 ml bottle for CAD 120.00 from Shopper Drug Mart in Kanata. Unfortunately, the brush was torn from the very first few applications. I am not ready to pay this amount every week, so I bought an OTC solution where the application is easier and the cost is almost one third of Jublia's cost. I will never use it again. I did not have the time to use it, so I will rate 1 out of 10."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "Have used Jublia twice and both times lost almost all the skin on both feet, even absorbed into my hands, which also shed the palms! Had blisters, redness, weeping nails, and dryness, worse than the initial problem and look at the cost. This is awful!!!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "My medical insurer and I spent over 200 dollars on Jublia. I wanted to trust it because it seemed to me that for the price, it would be something that works. What happened was all the opposite. When, after almost two years, I gave up, my nail is actually worse. This so-called medicine is a rip-off of sorts. I religiously applied it every day for over a year. How do these companies get away with selling their snake oil is beyond my reasoning. The clinical studies show that the use for 1 year can result in a complete cure in only 15% - 18% of cases!"

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I have had a toenail fungus for years on one big toe. I was told Jublia would rid me of it. I tried very diligently to use Jublia to get rid of it. I followed all instructions and tried for 1.5 years. It would cause the fungus to recede but would not eliminate it. Please believe me that it is a waste of time and a major waste of money."

For Onychomycosis, Toenail "I’ve had a very mild toenail fungal infection for decades. Can’t really remember not having it. It neither progressed beyond a quarter-inch strip at the end of both big toenails, but given the attention it’s received in media, especially the risk of spreading to others, I decided to “cure” it. There was no spreading to my other toes, though. Saw my family doctor and was prescribed Jublia, and soon after the refill of my first bottle, I developed a SEVERE reaction - blistering, swelling, rash, and redness. I didn’t link the problem to Jublia but did discontinue use. It took months for the skin on my toes to heal and constant attention to avoid infection. No change to my fungal infection, so a few days ago, I decided to apply the tiniest bit just to the very tip of the nail, and BOOM, a severe reaction within 2 - 3 hours."
