For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "It actually makes me vomit violently. It feels like it's burning a hole in my stomach. I've tried 3 different times. I have hyperemesis and I take Zofran and Phenergan, and when I try to add Diclegis, I vomit 10x back to back until it's out. Awful, awful stuff."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Overall, Diclegis has definitely reduced my nausea, so that I don't want to die 24/7. I can still notice the nausea some, especially when it gets closer to the next dosage. I am on 4 a day. It took two days to lessen the nausea, and I've still been vomiting once a day on average, and holding more back. I still need to keep my stomach full, but at least I can drink sips of water and eat some food, other than only toast. The first three days, I was a zombie. Now I can stay awake with caffeine in the morning, a nap in the afternoon. I don't know if I can return to work because I am so sleepy, which is the major negative. I was also constipated the first several days. I hate taking medicine, but I have two children to care for and was getting dehydrated."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis helps, but it does not work completely. You will still have vomiting and have to take it often if your morning sickness is severe. It can make you very tired and give you an out-of-sorts feeling. It was expensive as well at $40.00 a week worth of pills."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I'm pregnant with twins, and after 6 weeks, I started having severe nausea, and at 10 weeks, the vomiting came along. My doctor prescribed Diclegis. It works, the only downfall is the aftertaste. I have this horribly bitter taste in my mouth. I don't even know which is better: the nausea or the bitter taste."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "At first, the Diclegis seemed to work somewhat. I was no longer vomiting, though I was still gagging at times, but I was glad to be able to keep my food down. However, now I'm in my 2nd trimester at nearly 14 weeks and taking 3 a day, and the nausea is on and off all day, the gagging is intense, and I have even thrown up a few times. I'm not sure what is going on, the doctor even took me off my prenatals to help the nausea, and nothing seems to work. I was planning on decreasing my dose soon and getting off the medication, as I'm still skeptical and concerned about the long-term effects it could have on my baby. This medication also makes me very sleepy all day. It makes it really hard to wake up at 5 a.m. for work."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My doctor recommended this for my morning sickness. I was desperate to control the vomiting because I needed to go to work. I got extreme heartburn when I eat, no matter what. Eating was painful. If I skipped a dose, I would vomit uncontrollably. It was horrible. One day I threw up blood. I had noticed prior times that it seemed like blood spots, but I thought it was only in my head. By my 7th month of pregnancy, I still felt horrible and could not get off the pills. I started to feel chest pains. One night I woke up from the pain in my arm and chest. Very scary. I stopped taking the medicine that day."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I took this medicine twice with two different pregnancies, and both times, my baby’s heart stopped beating around the 8th week. I don't care what anyone says about this medicine and that it doesn’t cause the baby to die early on, I feel it does. It does help with nausea and vomiting."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis isn't working. Always sick and throw up twice a day at least. This is the worst feeling in the world. Had horrible morning sickness with two other children that went away around 15 weeks. Almost 12 weeks and counting the days. This is third and last pregnancy. Think about this being genetic and cringe and cry at the idea of daughters going through this."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine is a lifesaver. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and hadn't gained weight at all throughout this pregnancy. I actually lost weight because I was nauseous, vomiting regularly, and couldn't eat throughout this entire pregnancy. I was taking Zofran, which did help, but thanks to Diclegis, I was able to start eating more, the nausea went away, and I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I take Zofran throughout the day and 1-2 Diclegis at night because of the drowsiness, but this medicine is definitely a lifesaver for me."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis is a lifesaver! Starting at week 6, I had terrible nausea and vomiting. It was so debilitating, I could barely keep anything down or function normally. About two weeks ago, my doctor prescribed me Diclegis 4x a day, and it's been a game changer. The only thing I've noticed is that I start to feel really sick again if I miss a dose or if I take the medication late, but other than that, I'm feeling great!"
