"I have gastroparesis, which can induce uncontrollable vomiting, requiring a visit to the ER, primarily due to electrolyte imbalance. This is one of two meds that stops the vomiting. The other is Phenergan. I have had no side effects. As a retired PA-C in family practice, I recommend it be considered if other meds fail to relieve the nausea and vomiting."

"I take Domperidone to treat my delayed gastric emptying/gastroparesis. It works very well for me, except for when I am in a flare. I highly recommend this medication!"

"It’s been a lifesaver for me. I have no idea why it took doctors so long to try it. It’s made all the difference in the world as far as my nausea is concerned."

"My husband has been taking domperidone to treat gastroparesis, I think since 2005, so he's coming up on 20 years on this medication. As a baby, he projectile vomited milk daily. He was failure to thrive and was always underweight until he got on domperidone. He has vomited up food from the day before, and it still looks the same - completely undigested. Right around the time he started college, he had a gastric emptying test, and the food didn't budge or break down. The doctors/nurses said it's the worst case they've ever seen. He remembers feeling nauseous since his first memory as a toddler. It has been debilitating for him his entire life. First, he was prescribed Reglan, and it filled him with rage, made him extremely agitated, angry, and didn't help his digestion. The only side effects from the domperidone I'm aware of are that he has a little bit of a case of 'moobs,' lol, but that's a small price to pay for being able to eat and function! He gets it from Canada."
