Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "I am a patient of HOCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) for the last 20 years. I have used Norpace 300 mg a day for about 5 years and experienced the best relief of symptoms. I did not experience side effects other than urinary retention and dry mouth."

Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "I have been on this medication for 22 years. I have a weird vagatone form of a-fib. I was on Procainamide for 10 years, but developed chemically induced lupus. After 4 hospitalizations and 3 cardio conversions, Norpace CR was the only drug that worked comfortably for me. Unfortunately, it is currently out of production and not scheduled to be available again until March 2018 (today is 9/1/17). This has happened several times in recent years, there is no generic CR. MDs don't like it as it is an old drug and is contraindicated with 400 other medicines under 1,200 brand names, but it works for me when most of the new drugs don't. I am 65 now, and my EP wants to do a pacemaker, which I intend to postpone as long as possible."

Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "Overall, Norpace has been a lifesaver, with few side effects that are noticeable. I have been taking Norpace for 16 years and have had to increase from taking two per day to three per day, and they are considering four. But there have been no side effects at all that I can attribute to Norpace on its own, other than I cannot take it with Levaquin, an antibiotic, at the same time. No idea why, I was given strong advice from the pharmacist. I appreciated his advice."

Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "I have been on this medication for 11 years. It regulates the PVCs and PACs, and slows the PSVT episodes that I get 1-2 times per year. Before this medication, I always had irregular heartbeats due to PACs and PVCs, and I was always tired and weak. As soon as I started using this medication, I had a lot more energy. The only downfall is that I always feel hot/humid even when it's not hot/humid."

Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "I have been on this med, Norpace CR, for 50 years, and it made me have a quality life instead of miserable. I have to use the CR, which keeps it level in my bloodstream. It is the only med that worked for me."

For Arrhythmia "Please stay away from this medicine. After 5 days of usage, I got all the irreversible symptoms of fibromyalgia, including muscle/joint aches, paresthesia, hyperalgesia, and allodynia. I am extremely sad, my life has been ruined because of this drug. I was an extremely healthy person before I took this medicine."

Disopyramide for Arrhythmia "Been on it for a year and working good for me, no arrhythmias since I have been taking. Would have rated a 10 but do have some weak and pulled muscles."
