Diethylpropion "It's not true what they say about only taking it for a few weeks. I have been taking it for almost 2 years. I got off it for two months and I noticed I was hungrier. In fact, I was so hungry I gained 7 lbs in those two months. Then I re-started the pill and lost the weight again. I lost a total of 90 lbs and maintained them since starting the Tenuate and exercising. I eat the same foods but in smaller portions and exercise 4-5 times a week. I am now slowly decreasing my strength, but to be honest, I'm afraid to be completely off it. Might be more of a mental thing. I never had any side effects and see my doctor every 3 months for a blood pressure check and every 6 months for blood work to make sure it hasn't affected my liver/kidneys. I would recommend this medication anytime."

"I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago and gained so much weight. I tried diets, exercise, and, omg, I would just gain more weight! My doctor told me to try this, and in 3 days, I'm down 8 lbs!! I am so happy to have finally found something that helps. Can't wait for the rest of the nasty pounds to fall off."

"It's exactly one month today. I went to the clinic to weigh myself and have lost exactly a stone, which is around 14 lbs. I think it's great, but I must say that the speed of weight loss has reduced to around 3 lbs a week. However, I am still losing, not gaining."

"I am completely satisfied with this medication. I had a few side effects the first 4 days (a bit jittery, headache, insomnia, constipation), but all but the constipation has passed. I have been on this for 3 weeks today and am down 11.4 pounds. I am thrilled with it as I had tried Phentermine and had terrible side effects and had to quit. I am on about a 900 to 1000 calorie daily diet, drinking lots more water and walking daily. It gives me a good energy...I want to be up and doing things, but not like hyperactivity. It's been a great experience so far."

Diethylpropion "I love this pill. I'm 46, 5'9" and weigh 294 lb when I started back on this pill 9 days ago. Down 10 lbs. I am on a doctor-supervised liquid diet plan. He prescribed me Tenuate because I never forgot this little helper. On the same style diet plan with Tenuate, I lost 90 lbs about 16 years ago. After my weight loss journey 16 years ago, I put back the weight at about 5.5 lbs a year. :-( Well, now I'm back at it, just older now. But this little pill hasn't changed, still great. Minimal side effects. I am experiencing side effects of a dry mouth (so I'm drinking more water) and insomnia. The insomnia isn't crazy, but I'm wide awake for the late, late show, whereas I didn't use to be. I'll take the extra TV time over being overweight any day. Ask your doctor about this pill. It works."

"My Kaiser physician prescribed diethylpropion on May 18, 2021. In 37 days, I have lost 31 pounds. My knee pain has almost completely disappeared! I am more than thrilled at the result and wonder why this was not prescribed to me years ago, as I have struggled with my weight for twenty years. The only side effect I felt was in the first week. I felt a little amped up. It has not affected my sleep at all. I still take a 4 pm nap and have no trouble sleeping at night. I make a meal plan every day of around 1500 calories and find it so easy to follow now that my appetite is suppressed. I still have 45 lbs more to lose, but I am confident I will get there by the end of this summer with the help of diethylpropion."

Diethylpropion "I've been taking 75 mg of Tenuate for 4 months now and have lost a total of 40 lbs and intend to lose another 15. I dropped the most weight during the first 2 months and then slowly added a few more calories to my diet to slow down the weight loss and back off the pills so that I don't put more weight back on when I'm totally off them. It takes discipline, and I now eat lots of fruits and vegetables. This pill is really amazing, and you do have to sometimes remind yourself to eat. There are some days (when I don't take the pill) that I feel hungry and eat more, so I always try to eat less the next day. So far, that's working. Since I'm 60 years old, my doctor has been monitoring me very carefully, but I've had no issues whatsoever."

Diethylpropion "I have been taking Tenuate time-released 75 mg for almost 3 weeks. I am down 9 lbs. I started at 130 and am now 121.4. I have noticed that it is not working as well now as it did in the first week or two. At the beginning, I was never hungry, I would have to force myself to eat something. Now, I have noticed the hunger pains. I am hoping to lose another 11 lbs."

Diethylpropion "Amazing, I have been taking only 50 mg of this for 8 weeks. I have lost 31 lbs, 3 sizes. I don't feel racey or speedy or weird, I feel good. If I miss a dose, I don't feel it. I missed it for 4 days and didn't gain any weight. I am also eating really well and exercising! I recommend this if you have tried other things and they haven't been successful. I am a 31-year-old mother of 5. Nothing else worked, this is my miracle!"

Diethylpropion "I started Tenuate in mid-March, and now I am down 40 lbs. I use Tenuate along with a low-calorie diet and moderate exercise. I just reached one of my first goals, which was to be under 200 lbs. That was a big step for me. I haven't been this small since my first pregnancy back in 1995. I still have a long way to go, but I am very happy with the outcome thus far. I usually skip the Tenuate on the weekends because I tend not to eat breakfast on weekends. If I don't eat an hour or so after taking the pill in the mornings, I get a little jittery. I would recommend this to anyone looking to lose big numbers. I weigh in with my doctor once a month, and she monitors my blood pressure, etc. I couldn't be happier."

"After using diet pill after diet pill and seeing no effect, I finally went to my primary care physician. I told him that I didn't know what was happening to me, I couldn't stop eating. Even when I knew I was full, I was still eating. After the weight gain and being at my heaviest, 192 lbs., came depression, and that made my eating habits worse. Within a week of taking this medication, I lost 5 lbs. My eating habits started improving, I no longer craved chips or sugar. By the end of two months, I had lost 13 lbs. My clothes started fitting me and my depression went away. I love this medication, it's been 3 months, and it seems like I'm stuck at 176 lbs. Exercising improves this medication. I love this medication."

Diethylpropion "Tenuate Retard is a miracle product, no side effects at all as they mentioned, everything is normal with me, and I don't feel hungry all the time, and I don't believe what they have mentioned about the side effects. I lost 2 kilos per week, I think the company that did this product Tenuate Retard is very genius."

Diethylpropion "Unbelievable! I have lost 20 pounds in 47 days. I went from a large size 12 to a size 10. There was a time when the weight stayed the same for 2 weeks, but after that, it started to fall off again...so don't give up! I am so much happier than I've been in a long time!"

Diethylpropion "First week, lost 3 pounds. Have blurred vision, but no side effects that can't be tolerated. First night, could not sleep, but after that it was okay. This is an awesome drug, was kind of scared of diet pills, but this one is great."

"This is the most honest review I can give about this medicine. It's amazing. I have been on it for one month and have lost 1 stone and 3 pounds. I go to the gym 4 times a week, and I am on a controlled calorie diet. Please ensure that you eat breakfast first, then take it 10 minutes later to ensure that the tablet is effective. I find sometimes the medicine wears off by 7 pm, so I try to take this pill late mornings to ensure I don't get hungry. At the end of the day, this pill does help, but you can only really help yourself. Make sure you exercise regularly. You have to put in effort to get excellent results. This is not a miracle pill."

"I have been on Diethylpropion for exactly one month now. When I was originally prescribed Diethylpropion, I was a little disappointed because I have heard such great things about Phentermine. The doctor explained why Diethylpropion was more suited for me because of my anxiety issues. The first few days of taking it, I did have elevated anxiety, but that ceased after about day 3. My starting weight was 230 lbs, 5'7", and exactly one month later, I am at 214. I keep my calorie content under 900 and lift a half hour of weights every other day and use the elliptical every once in a while. I have a desk job, so I do not get any exercise at work. My goal weight is 170 lbs by May, so I'm 1/4 of the way there!"

Diethylpropion "I've tried Tenuate 2 years ago to lose weight. It worked then, and now I'm older and have high blood pressure and a bad back, so I needed a boost again! Still works the same in lowering my hunger, lost 5 lbs in 2 days! 35 lbs more to go, and I'm very confident I'm going to succeed. Mine are 75 mg. No side effects, with the exception of dry mouth. I drink more water."

Diethylpropion "I just started the time release, this is my third day. I have always been hesitant because about 6 years ago, I started suffering from severe panic attacks, and since then, I have had a hard time with anything that gets my heart rate going or makes my body feel weird, including caffeine. So exercise would trigger panic attacks. I finally got them under control with meds, but I weigh 277 pounds, not a number I usually say out loud. So anyways, I am not having any major jitters or anything, I have dry mouth really bad but can work with it. I do find that I have no appetite and food tastes a little different but not craving to eat all the time. I am down to 269 lbs, which is probably water weight. I am staying hopeful because I really need my life back."

"I have been on this medication at 75 mg for two weeks now and have lost 12 lbs. I feel great. There was some side effect the first few days, but all that is left is a dry mouth. But I just drink a lot of water, which is actually good for me because, previously, I was horrible at drinking it. I will be monitored monthly by my doctor to ensure safety and am so far satisfied with the beginning results."

Diethylpropion "Tenuate Dospan was the best medication ever. I took it years ago and lost so much weight. It was the only time in my life I was able to. It's so unfair that we can't get it in Australia anymore! I have tried to get it overseas and can't find anyone that will send it. It's really effective."

"I have been on this medication for 1 month, and it DOES take away hunger. I take my pill around 10 a.m. because I'm more of a late-night eater. I have had the headaches the first week taking the pills, but they have slightly gone away. This pill does make me feel a bit of the rapid heartbeat, but only for a bit. I did feel a bit of depression the first week taking it, and it's not like me at all, but as my body is getting used to it, that feeling went away. I have tried phentermine, and that gave me crazy energy. BUT I was still able to eat on it, it did not really take my hunger away like diethylpropion. I'm on the 75 mg ER, so it releases slower for the whole day. I exercise 5 days a week for 1 hr and 30 min, lost 12 lbs, and exercise and eat right."

Diethylpropion "I was prescribed Tenuate extended-release tabs because of my caffeine sensitivity. Of course, I noticed a change, but not the jittery/shaky feeling that comes with harsh stimulants. My side effects included nausea, constipation, blurred vision (which I didn't associate with the meds). I lost 15 pounds over a three-month period, including the winter holiday period, but noticed after that I was not losing anymore. Two months later and a 6 lb weight gain, I've decided to stop taking the meds. Immediately, I noticed extreme exhaustion and an inability to get going."

"YES and NO! I recently went to a weight loss clinic and was started on this medication. It worked immediately! I didn't feel hungry at all! I ate healthy meals and snacks. With little workout the first week, I lost 6.5 lbs! I was SO happy. Then came the ER visit this morning. :( Yes, I experienced the 'normal' side effects the first 4 days. However, on day 8, I got a stabbing chest pain. Overall, I am a pretty healthy 27-year-old. I knew chest pain could be a serious side effect but didn't connect it to the medication just yet. I noticed a lot of tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and fatigue. I got a full workup at the ER which thankfully came back clean. However, I got a very serious talk from the ER MD who said STOP taking immediately. As you can imagine, hearing this sucks. Does it work? Yes! Can it cause serious health risks? Unfortunately, in some people (me), it does."

Diethylpropion "I've been taking Tenuate for 6 months. I'm very pleased with the results, I've dropped 4 dress sizes and 30 lbs. One thing I've found to be the key to my success is working out and making sure I eat enough calories. I only want to lose 17 lbs more, and I'm keeping 'the faith' that I will accomplish my goal."

"The best weight loss medication I have ever used! I have lost 20 lbs in 2.5 months! A record for me! Side effects are minimal. I am not hungry most of the time, which gives me great control over what I eat. I count my calories each day to the best of my abilities. I used MyFitnessPal website to calculate how many calories I should eat a day to lose the weight for a specific period of time, which was key to my success."
