Clopidogrel "Have been on 75 mg Plavix and 81 mg aspirin for 14 years after having a stent placed in the carotid artery. Only side effect had been easy bruising until my last shipment of clopidogrel from Dr. Reddy’s Lab. The shape of the pill has changed (now white and much larger). Now, after 30 days of use, I have very large dark purplish bruises on my forearms. Looks like senile purpura. Need to find another producer of generic Plavix!"

Clopidogrel "After 2 Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs) and one hospital stay for 3 days, I was prescribed Plavix. I had an anaphylactic shock reaction. The next day, comments from the nurses, "Wow, I have never seen such a bad reaction," and the physicians apologizing the following day for giving me Plavix. First time a physician has apologized, I realized how bad my reaction had been. If you have any drug sensitivities, I would choose something else first."

Clopidogrel "I began taking Plavix in the ER post TIA. My blood pressure was 205 over something, and I felt like that was driving the severe fatigue. However, I have been on it 5 months and I didn't realize until I failed to take it one day how tired it made me. I now take it at night, which helped tremendously. It still makes me somewhat tired but not the severe fatigue that was lateral with Covid. I would rather stay on and not have another TIA or another real stroke. I had one of each."

"I've been prescribed clopidogrel for a suspected TIA. No evidence was found on examination or investigations. My symptoms were confined to my right eye. Since being on this med, I have experienced gum bleeding when brushing my teeth, loose stools, tummy ache, and feel like I have influenza. I can't function like this as I live alone. I'm persevering for a few more days (only began taking 4 days ago) to see if it eases, then will go back to my GP."

"I've had 3 TIAs and then 100% occlusion in the left vertebral artery. I was hospitalized for 6 days. After which I found out that I have Factor V Leiden which is a blood clotting factor. I am also on Clopidogrel for Coronary Artery Disease. So far everything has been going well, I had my occlusion in 2013."

Clopidogrel "After my VAD stroke, I am on Plavix. I have a toddler that I still nurse. I looked up Plavix for several days and talked to several doctors. Some said it was fine, some said it was not okay. After talking to so many people about it, I felt that it seemed okay to nurse on. I've been on it for a month, and yesterday I realized that my 2-year-old is constipated. We are weaning ASAP now because I don't know what else it's doing to him, but it's definitely getting through. I just wanted to post this somewhere for other nursing moms to see. We are currently only nursing two times a day right now."

"I've been taking this medicine for a little over 6 months. I am a 66-year-old female. In 2014, I lost 30 pounds on purpose, so I have been feeling good, except for age-related pain in my hip joints. I've just realized recently that I'm no longer feeling pain in my joints. Nothing has changed in my life except the addition of this medicine. So, I've concluded this is a positive side effect from taking this medicine."

"I took ibuprofen (2 caps at night for severe back pain) while taking this medicine and woke in the morning with a severe nosebleed."
