Clopidogrel "I've been taking Plavix 75 and a baby aspirin for 9 months now after stent placement in the back of my heart. So far, no side effects except bruising. I am 65 years old, male with heart disease. Can't take any statins because they cause too much leg muscle pain."

Clopidogrel "After two stents and medication right leg (least obstructed) improvement in 48 hrs. Left leg pain drastically reduced and mobility returning. Sleeping better. Have been on this medication (with aspirin) for one week. Very optimistic, haven't felt this good in years."

"I have been on Plavix for about 5 years since I had a stent placed. Since I have been on this medication, my bruising is horrific. I have severe calf and leg pain. I had a complete ultrasound and Doppler done, the vascular surgeon doesn't see anything. I don't know what to do anymore. The cardiologist told me I need to take Plavix for the rest of my life. I am getting a second opinion for sure... Has anyone experienced this?"

Clopidogrel "Lots of bruising and bleeding. The worst part now is hives every day, only on one side of my body. It didn’t do anything to help after stents. My legs both got worse after surgery, and Plavix didn’t stop the stents from clogging up. I keep taking it until I see my PCP next week to see what to do. The vascular surgeon isn’t much help."

Clopidogrel "5 months ago, I started feeling a heartburn-like pain in the AM. Without any questions, I called the EMS. Less than a half hour later, I was told I was having a heart attack. Two stents later, at 81% clogged arteries, I was told Plavix and aspirin would be with me forever. To this day, it has been working GREAT."

"I was put on Clopidogrel after a stent was put in my heart. I was also diagnosed with PAD. I walk every day and have been short of breath for the last month. I'm not sure if the Clopidogrel is responsible for the shortness of breath since I have been taking it for 8 months. I also get heartburn quite often. I will continue taking this medication to help keep my veins open. I get black and blue occasionally but it is nothing severe."

"Provided under hospitalization. The drug should be used cautiously. Diabetics have to be very careful. Even a simple prick for a routine blood sugar test may yield more blood than usual. The drug is effective for decreasing heart murmur."
