Cholestyramine "Mix it with Tang, it makes it much easier to drink. All you get is Tang and a little grittiness. I am experiencing an inability to overeat and some resultant weight loss. I have been on it for about a month."

"2nd day using cholestyramine tablets for cholesterol, does well with or after meal. Otherwise nauseated and lightheaded. Will take half package tonight. See how that does. Must drink much water afterwards to get that thick taste out of mouth."

"After only three days, 1 packet a day, my throat felt sore. Stopped for a month and retested, same result. No longer use. I don't know about reducing cholesterol."
