For Dietary Supplementation "I've been taking biotin on and off for over a year now. Never really connected stomach issues with this supplement before. I was taking 5000 mcg every day, but experiencing severe diarrhea and didn't know why until my cousin mentioned her problem while taking biotin. My hair is thick and shiny, but nails are still thin and weak. I will cut down on biotin usage and see if this helps resolve my issues."

For Dietary Supplementation "Yes, it seems headaches may come with biotin. So halve the dose. It's like in the hospital when you get an infection, they give you MASSIVE doses of antibiotics to absolutely be sure to destroy everything and anything. When it has been found that half doses or less work just as well. So if you are getting headaches, stomach cramps, or feeling nauseous, just halve the dose and see. Instead of taking a pill three times a day, try it once, at lunchtime preferably. And if you are getting bald spots from rubbing in a serum, stop using the serum."

For Dietary Supplementation "I’ve been taking this vitamin for three weeks and can honestly say that I have seen a difference in hair growth (approximately one inch). I haven’t had any side effects that some people have listed, although I have noticed that I have had stomach cramps/trapped gas every single day. I’m not sure if it is related or if I’ve picked up a slight bug/virus from my family (?). Overall, I’ve had a positive experience so far, but my concern is - what happens when you stop taking it? What will the impact be if all of a sudden my body isn’t receiving biotin at this current dosage??"
