For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "I have had swollen eyes to the point they swell closed. Also, red, itchy eyes and eyelids. I was prescribed Bepreve drops. I am not sure they are working yet, but will likely never use again, as I experienced a severe metallic taste in my saliva as well as what felt to be a vapor hovering around the back of my throat. Saliva was a very bad, sour taste."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Got a bad taste in the oat about 15 minutes after putting it in. Lasted about 10 minutes. It helps to suck on hard candy to keep taste at bay. I think it's working pretty well so far. I had a small growth on my eye from chronic dry eye (inflammation), this made it smaller dramatically."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Surprised people are saying bad aftertaste, but I guess those tear ducts drain into the nasal cavity, which drains into the throat, so it makes sense. Just tried it; I feel better vs. all the other allergy drops I’ve taken. I'd rather not use eye drops long term. I feel that the eye drops help with the symptoms but not on the actual root of the problem. For me, I believe it's the contact lenses I wear that are causing my problems."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Works well. A bad taste comes from it and a weird feeling in the back of my throat. However, the company does tell you how to avoid this if you read all the instructions."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "This works wonderfully and within minutes, but gives you the worst taste in your mouth. I tasted it within minutes after using them. I guess it's a trade-off."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Used for one week in the worst allergy season of my life. Fantastic product! I can tell exactly when twelve hours are up! To avoid the aftertaste, I sucked on flavored hard candy."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Who knew an eye drop could taste so bad! It worked, but the taste is terrible - I'll only be taking it when I have to."

"I just started using these eyedrops. My allergies are not as bad this time of year, so I can't be sure if it is helping much. The side effect of the bad aftertaste is more than 'mild' in my case."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "The Bepreve drops work amazingly well, and with them I have greatly decreased redness, itching, swelling, and blurry vision. Once in a while, I taste them but not often, and that to me is a small price to pay for comfort. But I no longer can afford this product at $218 a bottle. Even with coupons, it is $70 for a 20-day or so supply. I wish these were more affordable, so I and others could benefit from them. So I'm unsure of what I'll do now, which makes me sad. My insurance will cover this drug after I make my $5,000 deductible."
