Triangle 10 HB Indications
For vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVD) types 1 & 2, parainfluenza 3 (PI3), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), Leptospira pomona, L. hardjo, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola, and L. icterohaemorrhagiae, prevention of urinary shedding of L. borgpetersenii serovar Hardjo in heifers 10 months of age or older, and as an aid in the reduction of clinical disease due to infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR). Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. borgpetersenii serovar Hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure.
Composition
Contains IBR, BVD types 1 and 2, PI3, and BRSV killed viruses, Leptospira organisms listed above, with neomycin, polymyxin B, and thimerosal as preservatives. Contains the Enhance dual adjuvant system.Administration and dosage: Inject one 5 mL dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously using aseptic technique. Repeat in 14 to 28 days. A 5 mL booster dose is recommended annually or prior to time of stress or exposure. Calves vaccinated under 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months. May be administered to pregnant animals at any stage of gestation. Protect animals from exposure for at least 14 days after the last dose of vaccine.
Precautions
Store in dark at 2-7°C. Do not freeze. Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.Manufactured by: Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., St. Joseph, Missouri 64506 U.S.A.
