Salmonella Dublin-Typhimurium BacterinThis treatment applies to the following species:

Active Ingredient(s): Formalin killed, aluminum hydroxide adsorbed cultures of Salmonella dublin and Salmonella typhimurium, bovine isolates.
Contains thimerosal as a preservative.
Salmonella Dublin-Typhimurium Bacterin Indications
For the vaccination of healthy cattle to induce resistance to salmonella infections caused by the micro-organisms named.
Dosage and AdministrationIn areas where salmonella infections have been a problem, adult cattle, pregnant cows and new born calves should all be given two (2) injections of 2 mL each at an interval of 14-21 days. Boost immunity in pregnant cows with an annual 2 mL injection. Vaccinate adult cattle prior to placing on feed and pregnant cows four (4) to six (6) weeks before calving time. Newborn calves should be left on cows for seven (7) days at which time the bacterin can be administered.
All injections should be subcutaneous.
Precaution(s): Shake well. Each dose must have a proportionate share of the precipitate for a proper response. Store in the dark at 2-7°C. Do not freeze.
Caution(s): Anaphylactic reactions sometimes follow administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenaline or an equivalent drug.
Use the entire contents when the bottle is first opened.

Warning(s): Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
Presentation: 10 dose (20 mL) and 50 dose (100 mL) vials.
