This product kills the following organism in 2 minutes on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces at room temperature:

This product can be used on the following hard, non-porous surfaces of the following items: acrylic, metals (aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, chrome), sealed granite, glass, plastics (polycarbonate, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyvinylchloride (PVC)), hard, non-porous rubber, Plexiglas®, vinyl as well as coated, laminated and painted surfaces, ambulance equipment/surfaces and patient care surfaces, anesthesia machines, bed railings, bedside devices, biohazard team equipment, birthing room fixtures, blood bank equipment surfaces, blood pressure devices, cardiac monitors, chest pumps, synthetic (vinyl, plastic, nylon, polymer) coated mattresses, computer keyboards, computer screens, drug preparation equipment, empty whirlpool tanks, ER stretchers, examination equipment, floors, glucometers, gonial lenses, hydrotherapy units (empty), infant bassinets/cribs/incubators/warmers/care equipment, instrument reprocessing equipment, Isolettes®, infusion pump surfaces, laboratory equipment/surfaces, synthetic mats, synthetic mattress covers, OR lights/tables/surfaces, oxygen hoods, synthetic patient bed surfaces, physician office surfaces, skin care equipment/surfaces, telemetry equipment. Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Advisory Statements

Do not use this product as a baby or skin wipe, or on contact lenses. Do not use on dishes, glasses or utensils. Rinse all surfaces which may come in contact with food with clean potable water after using this product. Not recommended for polished wood, or bare wood. Unplug small electrical appliances before cleaning or disinfecting with this product.

Dispensing Directions:

To start feed, remove cover and discard seal. From the center of the wipe roll, pull up a wipe corner, twist it into a point and thread it through the hole located on the container cover. Pull through about one inch. Replace cover. Pull out first wipe and tear off at an angle. Remaining wipes feed automatically, ready for the next use. When not in use, keep center cap closed to prevent evaporation.

Cleaning, Pre-cleaning and Deodorizing

Use a fresh wipe to clean surfaces. Repeat as necessary until surfaces are visibly clean. Allow the surface to remain thoroughly wet for 30 seconds. Wipe off or allow to air dry.

This product can also be used to pre-clean all surfaces to be disinfected.

Disinfection of Pre-Cleaned Non-Critical Medical Devices¥, Instruments and Implements

Use a fresh wipe to thoroughly wet pre-cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces. Allow surfaces to remain visibly wet for 1♦ minute at room temperature (68°F/20°C). Remove and rinse instruments. Wipe dry prior to use.

¥Non-critical medical devices are items that come in contact only with intact skin. Note: When used on critical and semi-critical medical devices, this product can only be used for pre-cleaning. Critical and semi-critical devices must be followed by appropriate terminal sterilization/high-level disinfection process.

Vehicle Disinfection

Use a fresh wipe to thoroughly wet pre-cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 1 minute♦. Allow surfaces to air dry.

To Disinfect Hard, Non-porous Surfaces/Articles

Use a fresh wipe to thoroughly wet pre-cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 1 minute♦, prior to wiping or allow surfaces to air dry.

Note: Disinfected surfaces which may come in contact with food must be rinsed with potable water after cleaning and/or disinfection and before reuse.

♦This symbol indicates a 2 minute contact time is required to kill TB.

*HBV, HCV and HIV-1 Precautions: This product kills HBV, HCV and HIV-1 on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces/objects previously soiled with blood/body fluids in health care or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood/body fluids, and in which the surfaces/objects can be associated with the potential for transmission of HBV, HCV and/or the human immunodeficiency virus Type 1 (HIV-1) associated with AIDS. Special instructions for cleaning against HBV, HCV and HIV-1 of surfaces/objects soiled with blood/body fluids: Personal Protection: Specific barrier protection items to be used when handling items soiled with blood or body fluids are disposable latex gloves, gowns, masks and eye coverings. Cleaning Procedure: Blood and other body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces/objects before disinfection. Contact Time: Allow hard, non-porous surfaces to remain wet for 30 seconds to kill HBV, HCV, and HIV-1 prior to wiping or allow surface to air dry.

Infectious Materials Disposal: Cleaning materials used that may contain blood/body fluids must be autoclaved and/or disposed of in accordance with local regulations for infectious materials disposal.

This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high level disinfection.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store in original container in a cool, well ventilated, locked storage area. Tightly close lid between uses to retain moisture. Pesticide Disposal: Dispose of wipe in trash after use. Do not flush. Container Handling: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Discard container and put in trash or offer for recycling if available.

Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals

Opti-Cide Max Wipes Caution

Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid breathing vapors and contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment based on safe work practices. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

First Aid

If inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. If on Skin: Take off contaminated clothing. Immediately rinse skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. If in Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. If Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.
