Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. This product may contaminate water through runoff. This product has a potential for runoff for several months or more after application. Poorly draining soils and soils with shallow water tables are more prone to produce runoff that contains this product.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. DO NOT apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are foraging in the treatment area.

To protect the environment, DO NOT allow pesticide to enter or runoff into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. Rinsing application equipment over the treated area will help avoid runoff to water bodies or drainage systems.

Physical or Chemical Hazards

DO NOT spray where electrical short circuits might result, such as wall outlets, conduits, motors, switches, etc. DO NOT spray directly into any electronic equipment, such as radios, televisions, computers, telephones, etc.

Bed Bugs

Thoroughly inspect area of suspected bed bug infestation, and note potential harborage sites or actual infestations. Prior to treatment, please ensure that infested bedding (pillows and linens), clothing and other items or obstacles have been removed from the area that may prevent thorough inspection or treatment. Apply to mattresses as a spot treatment to mattress seams, edges and tufts of bed only. DO NOT use directly on pillows, bed linens or clothes. DO NOT saturate the mattress; and DO NOT treat entire surface area of mattress. Allow mattress to dry thoroughly before replacing pillows and/or bed linens.

Bed bugs may also harbor in areas of the room away from the bed. Apply as a Crack & Crevice or spot application where evidence of bed bugs occurs. This includes bed frames, box springs, inside empty drawers and clothes closets, night stands and other furniture in the room, carpet edges, high and low wall moldings (such as floor molding or window casings), wall voids, behind wall hangings and mirrors, wallpaper edges and popcorn ceilings. Remove all clothes and other articles from dressers or closets before application. Take bed apart. Treat joints and channels if hollow, such as square or round tubing, and see that interior framework is treated. Apply as a surface application to carpeting, drapes and flooring. Allow all treated areas to dry thoroughly before use.

Carpet Beetles

Apply on and under edge of floor coverings, under carpets and furniture and in closets or other locations where these insects are found. Entire carpets may be treated.

DO NOT treat companion animals, such as dogs, cats, puppies or kittens, with this product.

Stored Product Pests

Apply as a Crack & Crevice® or spot treatment to localized areas including shelves, cupboards, walls and floors where food products suspected of being infested are stored. Remove or cover food, in the treatment area, before application. This treatment is supplemental to good housekeeping, since it will have no effect on insects inside packaging. Dispose all infested foodstuffs.

Foam Application

This product can be converted to a foam and the foam used to treat structural voids to kill insect and arthropod pests in walls, under slabs or in other void areas. Mix 1 part end-use dilution with 25 parts foaming agent. This will provide adequate coverage and expansion without significant wetting to interior wall surfaces. Verify, before treatment, that the foaming agent is compatible with this product.

Food Handling Establishments

Crack & Crevice, spot or direct spray treatments are permitted within food/feed areas of food handling and processing facilities when facility is not in operation. DO NOT apply this product as a space spray treatment within food handling and processing facilities.

Food handling establishments are places other than private residences in which food is held, processed, prepared or served.

Food Areas

Include areas for receiving, serving, storing (dry, cold, frozen, raw), packing (canning, bottling, wrapping, boxing), preparing (cleaning, slicing, cooking, grinding), edible waste storage and enclosed processing systems (mills, dairies, edible oils, syrups).

Shrubbery and vegetation around stagnant pools, marshy areas, ponds and shorelines may be treated. Treatment of vegetation in water from land is also permitted by allowing wind to move product into vegetation, but application of this product directly to any body of water is prohibited.

Listed Crawling Insects and Spiders

For treatment of localized infestations of these insects in outdoor areas which are landscaped, planted, mulched or unmaintained, treat infested areas. For ants, wet hills and runways. Repeat applications as infestation warrants and as reinfestations occur. For ants and spiders, apply product to cracks and crevices where insects may enter premises or harbor. Areas to be treated include weep holes, under siding, wall voids, soffits, eaves around attic vents, cracks and crevices, openings around windows, doors and pipes. Treatment of infested fences and tree holes is permitted.

Peridomestic Cockroaches

Apply at the 0.10% rate, as a Crack & Crevice or spot treatment to hiding places such as cracks and crevices, moist areas, openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators and manholes.
