First Aid

Have the product container or label with you when calling the poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment. You may also contact SafetyCall® International (866) 897-8050 for emergency medical treatment information. If swallowed: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. If inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Note to Physician: This product may pose an aspiration pneumonia hazard. Contains petroleum distillate.

Exit II Synergized Pour-On Caution

Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Personal Protective Equipment

Applicators and handlers must wear:

● Long-sleeved shirt and long pants;

● Shoes plus socks; and

● Chemical-resistant gloves made of barrier laminate, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, or viton.

In addition, mixers/loaders, persons cleaning equipment, and handlers performing animal dip applications must wear:

● Chemical-resistant apron

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

USER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

● User should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

● User should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

● Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

Environmental Hazards

This pesticide is extremely toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. Rinsing application equipment over the treated area will help avoid run off to water bodies or drainage systems.

This pesticide is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.

Do not use or store near heat or open flame.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

READY TO USE - No dilution necessary except for back rubber devices.

For cattle and sheep, repeat treatment as needed, but do not exceed 5 fl. ozs. during any 14 day interval. For optimum lice control, two treatments at a 14 day interval are recommended.

Special Notes: This product is not effective in controlling cattle grubs. This is an oil-base, ready-to-use product that may leave an oily appearance on the hair coat of some animals. This product should be used in an integrated pest management system which may involve repeat treatments and the use of other pest control practices.

Precautions And Restrictions

Entry Restrictions

● For surface spray: Except when applying to dairy and beef cattle, calves, and sheep, do not enter or allow others to enter treated area until sprays have dried.

● For space spray or fog applications: Except when applying to dairy and beef cattle, calves, and sheep, do not enter or allow others to enter until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.

Application Restrictions

● Except when applying to dairy and beef cattle, calves, and sheep, do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift.

● Except when applying to dairy and beef cattle, calves, and sheep, only protected handlers may be in the area during application.

● Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems.

● Not for metered release systems.

● Do not make outdoor applications during rain.

● Do not apply when food or feed is present.

● Do not apply by high pressure hand wand, hand held foggers, or fog/mist generators.

● When used in dairy barns or facilities: Close milk bulk lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Wash teats of animals before milking.

● Other than applications to building foundations (up to a maximum height of 3 feet), all outdoor applications are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications, only.

● Do not apply directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application.

● Not for use in commercial animal premise automatic misting systems.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Lactating and Non-lactating Dairy Cattle, Beef Cattle and Calves

Lice, Horn Flies, Face Flies. Aids in control of Horse Flies, Stable Flies, House Flies, Mosquitoes and Black Flies

Dosage: Apply 1/2 fl. oz. (15 cc) per 100 pounds of body weight of animal up to a maximum of 5 fl. ozs. for any one animal. Pour-On: Pour correct dose along back and down face. Ready-To-Use Spray: Use undiluted in a mist sprayer to apply correct dose. Apply directly to neck, face, back, legs and ears. Back Rubber Use: Mix one pint per gallon #2 diesel or mineral oil. Keep rubbing device charged. Results improved by daily forced use.

Sheep

Sheep Keds, Lice

Pour Along Back: Apply 1/4 fl. oz. (7.5 cc) per 50 pounds body weight of animal, up to a maximum of 3 fl. ozs. for any one animal. For optimum control, all animals in the flock should be treated after shearing.

Premises-in and around Horse, Beef, Dairy, Swine, Sheep and Poultry premises, Animal Hospital Pens and Kennels and outside Meat Processing Premises.

House Flies, Stable Flies, Face Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Black Flies, Fleas, Little House Flies (Fannia spp.) Aids in control of cockroaches, ants, spiders, crickets.

For use as a ready-to-use spot spray or premise spray, use undiluted in a mist sprayer. Apply directly to surface to leave a residual insecticidal coating, paying particular attention to areas where insects crawl or alight.

One gallon will treat approximately 7,300 square feet.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage and Spill Procedures: Store upright at room temperature. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. Store in a locked area out of reach of children and domestic animals. In case of spillage or leakages, soak up with an absorbent material such as sand, sawdust, earth, Fuller’s earth, etc. Dispose of with chemical waste.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spilled bait, or rinsate is a violation of Federal Law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for Guidance.

Container Disposal: If empty -Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling if available. If recycling is not available: then dispose of container in a sanitary landfill or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Unless otherwise instructed, place in trash. Never pour unused product down the drain or on the ground.

For Bulk container: (Refillable Container) Refill this container with pesticides only. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose. Cleaning the container before final disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning before refilling is the responsibility of the re-filler. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining contents from this container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percent full with water. Agitate vigorously or re-circulate water with the pump for 2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or rinsate collection system. Repeat this procedure two more times.
