Warnings

CAUTIONS: For use as an oral solution only. This product should not be considered a substitute for a sound dental program. It should be used under the directions of a veterinarian who can advise on a complete oral health program. Do not use concomitantly with other animal dentifrices or toothpastes. Published literature has reported some possible staining with prolonged use of chlorhexidine. Applying the solution with a toothbrush would reduce staining.

Recommended Use: DentaChlor Liquid is a dental/periodontal liquid which assists in the daily maintenance of a healthy and pleasant smelling mouth in dogs and cats.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 0.12% w/w Chlorhexidine Gluconate

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Apply once daily or according to the recommendations of your veterinarian. Do not rinse after application. For best results, use an applicator such as a soft-bristled toothbrush.

DIRECT DENTAL APPLICATION: Holding the animal’s head steady with one hand, gently insert the applicator inside the corner of the mouth and apply 2-4ml of DentaChlor Liquid between the teeth and side of the mouth. Massage the mouth over the teeth for 30 seconds to 2 minutes to work DentaChlor Liquid over the surface of the teeth. Repeat on the opposite side of the mouth so that the gum surfaces are thoroughly wet on both sides of the mouth. Do not rinse.

TOOTH BRUSHING: Place enough DentaChlor Liquid in a clean dish or cup to immerse the toothbrush. Holding the animal’s head steady with one hand, dip the toothbrush into the solution allowing the excess solution to return to the container, and carefully brush the teeth with a gentle motion. Re-wet the brush with DentaChlor Liquid as needed. Do not brush for more than 2 minutes. Do not rinse.

WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children.

STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place (15°C - 30°C).
