Deccox-L Indications

For the prevention of coccidiosis in cattle (including ruminating and non-ruminating calves and veal calves) caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii. For the prevention of coccidiosis in young sheep caused by Eimeria ovinoidalis, E. parva, E. bakuensis, and E. crandallis. For the prevention of coccidiosis in young goats caused by Eimeria christenseni and E. ninakohlyakimovae.

Mixing Directions

Mix 5.7 to 40 lbs. DECCOX-L with non-medicated feed ingredients to manufacture one ton of complete Type C medicated feed or milk replacer containing 12.9 to 90.8 grams decoquinate as in the examples below.

The resulting Type C medicated feed or milk replacer should be fed for at least 28 days during periods of exposure to coccidiosis or when it is likely to be a hazard. The concentration of decoquinate in the final Type C feed or milk replacer will vary with body weight and feed consumption to provide 22.7 mg per 100 pounds of body weight (0.5 mg/kg) per day.

Warning

Do not feed to cows, goats, or sheep producing milk for human consumption

Caution: Do not use in feeds containing bentonite.
