Chlorhexidine Navel Dip

INGREDIENTS:

Chlorhexidine Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, FD&C Blue # 1 in a buffered base

INDICATIONS:

For use as an aid in disinfecting and rapid drying of the newborn calf umbilical cord. Used to prevent the newborn calf from developing peritonitis.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Can be applied by dipping or spraying on to the umbilical cord at birth. Do not return unused portion to stock if dispensed to another container.

PRECAUTIONS:

Use only as directed. Do not attempt to dilute. Avoid prolonged storage at cold temperatures.

WARNING:

Harmful to skin and eyes. Blue staining is expected to occur. Also, skin dehydration and hypersensitivity to ingredients is possible. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as impervious gloves and goggles to protect skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation and provide adequate ventilation during product use.

CAUTION: FLAMMABLE

STORAGE:

Store at room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15°C - 30°C). Avoid prolonged storage at temperature extremes. Do not store in direct sunlight. Ensure cap is replaced tightly after each use.
