Directions For Use

Top Dressing - Top dress 10 to 20 grams of Baby Pig Restart APF per piglet on the pig starter twice a day during the first 48 hours after weaning. Maximum feeding rate of 40 grams/pig/day.

Liquid Feeding (Gruel) - For pigs of any age, showing signs of stunting or starving, mix 100 to 150 grams of Baby Pig Restart APF in 1 liter of warm water to form a tasty gruel. Initially feed 20 grams of the gruel alone for 1-2 feedings to attract pigs to the pan, mat or feeder. On subsequent feedings pour the gruel on top of starter pellets to encourage dry feed intake. Maximum feeding rate of 100 grams/pig/day of gruel.

Oral Feeding for one-five day-old pigs - Mix one part of Baby Pig Restart APF with two parts of water and stir well to make a suspension. Slowly feed 15 ml of the suspension on the back of the tongue to severely stunted or starved one-to five day-old piglets. Repeat as needed, typically feed 30 ml of suspension and feed a maximum of 60 ml of suspension/pig/day.

Storage

Store in a dry room at temperatures between 4°C and 30°C (40°F-86°F). Once bag is opened, seal bag with tape or binder and place unused portion of Baby Pig Restart APF in a dry air sealable container.

Baby Pig Restart APF Caution

Pigs showing symptoms of coma, shock or that are too weak and dehydrated to eat and drink normally should be treated as directed by a veterinarian.
