SALMONELLA ENTERITIDIS BACTERIN

FOR USE IN ANIMALS ONLY

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy chickens 12 weeks of age or older against Salmonella Enteritidis. Duration of immunity has not been established for this product. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

This product has been shown to be effective against colonization of Salmonella Enteritidis in the internal organs, including the reproductive tract, of vaccinated chickens.

Directions For Use

Vaccine should be warmed to room temperature before use.

Shake well before and during use.

Inject subcutaneously.

Vaccinate chickens between 12 and 16 weeks of age.

Revaccinate 4 weeks later.

Dose: 1/4 mL (0.25 mL) per bird. Inject all birds in flock.

Storage temperature: Store at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F). Do not freeze.

Warnings

In case of human exposure, contact a physician. As with any oil emulsion bacterin, improper vaccination technique may result in a reaction at the site of injection. Do not administer intramuscularly. Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the labeling.
