Interactions between your drugs
clidinium nebivolol
Applies to: clidinium, nebivolol / valsartan
Using clidinium together with nebivolol may alter the effects of both medications. Contact your doctor if you experience drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, confusion, blurred vision, dry mouth, or difficulty urinating. You may need a dose adjustment or need your blood pressure checked more often to safely use both medications. You should avoid activities requiring mental alertness until you know how the medications will affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food/lifestyle interactions
valsartan food/lifestyle
Applies to: nebivolol / valsartan
If you are taking valsartan you should avoid potassium-containing salt substitutes or over-the-counter potassium supplements without first talking to your doctor. This can cause high levels of potassium in your blood. High levels of potassium can cause weakness, irregular heartbeat, confusion, tingling of the extremities, or feelings of heaviness in the legs. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these symptoms.
clidinium food/lifestyle
Applies to: clidinium
Ask your doctor before using clidinium together with ethanol (alcohol). Use alcohol cautiously. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness while you are taking clidinium. You should be warned not to exceed recommended dosages and to avoid activities requiring mental alertness. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment to safely take this combination. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
