Interactions between your drugs
ritonavir aprocitentan
Applies to: lopinavir / ritonavir, aprocitentan
Ritonavir may decrease the blood levels and effects of aprocitentan. Monitor your blood pressure closely and speak with your healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns. In addition, aprocitentan and ritonavir may share similar side effects, such as liver problems, so there is also a possibility that the risk of shared side effects might be increased. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any nausea, vomiting, pain in the upper right part of your stomach, tiredness, lack of appetite, yellowing of your skin or eyes, dark urine, fever, or itching as these could be signs of a serious liver problem that may occur with aprocitentan treatment. Your doctor may already be aware of these possibilities, but has determined that this is the best course of treatment for you and is monitoring you for any potential complications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
