Applies to: Tetramune (diphtheria toxoid / haemophilus b conjugate (hboc) vaccine / pertussis, whole cell / tetanus toxoid), duvelisib
If you are currently being treated or have recently been treated with duvelisib, you should let your doctor know before receiving tetanus toxoid. Depending on the dose and length of time you have been on duvelisib, you may have a reduced response to the vaccine. In some situations, your doctor may want to delay vaccination to give your body time to recover from the effects of duvelisib therapy. If you have recently been vaccinated with tetanus toxoid, your doctor may choose to postpone treatment with duvelisib for a couple of weeks or more. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Grapefruit juice may increase the blood levels of certain medications such as duvelisib. You may want to limit your consumption of grapefruit and grapefruit juice during treatment with duvelisib. However, if you have been regularly consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice with the medication, then it is advisable for you to talk with your doctor before changing the amounts of these products in your diet, as this may alter the effects of your medication. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience increased side effects. Orange juice is not expected to interact.
