ZOLMitriptan rucaparib
Applies to: zolmitriptan, rucaparib
ADJUST DOSE: Coadministration with inhibitors of CYP450 1A2 may increase the plasma concentrations of zolmitriptan, which is a substrate of the isoenzyme. Due to limited data, the clinical consequences of this interaction are unknown.
MANAGEMENT: It is recommended that not more than 5 mg of zolmitriptan be taken in a 24-hour period during concomitant use with CYP450 1A2 inhibitors. Patients should be advised to notify their doctor promptly if they experience increased sedation, dizziness, paraesthesia, chest pain or tightness, shortness of breath, and/or irregular heartbeat.

Applies to: zolmitriptan
GENERALLY AVOID: Alcohol may potentiate some of the pharmacologic effects of CNS-active agents. Use in combination may result in additive central nervous system depression and/or impairment of judgment, thinking, and psychomotor skills.
MANAGEMENT: Patients receiving CNS-active agents should be warned of this interaction and advised to avoid or limit consumption of alcohol. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.
