Usual Adult Dose for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
30 mcg/kg IV bolus prior to percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) followed immediately by 4 mcg/kg/min IV infusion for at least 2 hours or for the duration of the PCI, whichever is longer
Use: Adjunct to PCI to reduce the risk of periprocedural myocardial infarction, repeat coronary revascularization, and stent thrombosis in patients who have not been treated with a P2Y12 platelet inhibitor and are not being given a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor.

Transitioning patients to oral P2Y12 therapy:
- Ticagrelor: 180 mg orally at any time during cangrelor infusion or immediately after cangrelor discontinuation.
- Prasugrel: 60 mg orally immediately after discontinuation of cangrelor. Do not administer prasugrel prior to discontinuation of cangrelor.
- Clopidogrel: 600 mg orally immediately after discontinuation of cangrelor. Do not administer clopidogrel prior to discontinuation of cangrelor.

Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 18 years.

Administration advice:
- Administer via a dedicated IV line.
- Administer bolus rapidly (less than 1 minute), from the diluted bag via manual IV push or pump.
- Ensure bolus is completely administered before the start of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
